Food is alright; atmosphere, value and service needs work

I came here with an omnivore friend and neither of us were satisfied with our food, especially based on prices. I was seated so that I was looking at an adjoining market with a cooler of juices - not what you’d expect from a place with $30 entrees. The baba ganoush was incredible. But after that, the food quality went down. My $16 falafel hot mezze (served with sauce and pickles, but no pita) was fine. The server, who was quick to move us along to turn the table, recommended the Moroccan cous cous, which we both found very bland.

Expensive, delicious

Had a very good dinner experience here on a recent trip to DC. The staff wasn’t super helpful when it came to knowing the vegan options or recommending vegan food, but luckily I had done my research and knew what my options were beforehand. Started with a baked cauliflower dish as a starter, which was wonderfully flavorful and unique. Dinner was a cocktail and a couple of shareables including an eggplant couscous dish. Also had a delicious dessert! Loved the street side patio. Highly recommended if it’s in your budget!

Pros: Vegan items marked on menu, Deliciously unique cousine, Lovely outdoor patio

Cons: Pricey

amazing, incredible, delicious

This is the best food I’ve eaten in the US and the only place i’ve found that has amazing options for vegans, vegetarians and others. The food I had was full of flavour and absolutely amazing and I would eat it every day if I was staying here for longer.

Pros: lots of vegan options , amazing flavour , great service

Outstanding food, outstanding service, lively atmosphere

The best food and best service my other half and I have enjoyed in a long time. We had six plates, all vegan, and every one was delicious, imaginatively conceived, and beautifully prepared. Our server went above and beyond, always with good humor, generosity, and friendly conversation. We had a reservation for an outdoor table on a very busy Friday night but when we arrived, a sudden rain shower had reduced the outside seating by one-third. In spite of the circumstances, we were seated within 20 minutes and waiting at the bar was no hardship.

Pros: Truly great vegan food, Extraordinarily good service, Excellent location

Cons: No complaints!
