Classic oriental restaurant

Classic Lebanese food with decent vegan options. The falafels and the hummus didn't seem to be homemade however.

Close to Alcazar

It’s open 16-20 when all the other restaurants are closed! A bit overpriced. Baba ganoush was good but small portion and a bit oily. Friendly staff! Great atmosphere.

Gutes Essen

Nice food, a bit expensive

The food was overall quite good. There are not that many vegan options, but also not too few. I tried the Babaganoush, the Hummus and the side rice dish (nice but overpriced).

Crunchy falafel

The waiter was kind and helpful. The place has good vibes. We loved the falafel, hummus, yallanji and mutabal.

Pros: Tasting plate was more than enough for two people.

A good option

We had the mezze sharing player which looked very good. We also had the cous cous main course which was a bit uninspiring but perfect for weaning food for our baby.

Great value!

Stopped here for a quick dinner before a flamenco show and had a great experience. When we told our waiter we were in a hurry service was fast and cordial.
Tried hummus, babaganoush, falafel, and this salad with bread in it. I thought the hummus and babaganoush were delicious! Especially with their melt-in-your-mouth warm pita bread.
The falafel was a bit dry and could have used more texture and flavor, but it was still pretty good. I didn’t love the salad with fried pita bread croutons in it, but it was by no means bad. I just don’t like crutons in general.
Prices are very fair, especially for the area. Overall, would definitely recommend. The place was packed with middle eastern tourists, so it’s apparently quite authentic.

Pros: Tasty, Great service , Inexpensive

Delicious

I would have given the food we ordered a 5-star rating, but this is not possible for restaurants that are not 100% veg/vegan. The vegetarian tasting plate for 2 was outstanding! The location near the Cathedral and friendly service from English-speaking staff was also a big plus.

Great vegan sides!

Garlic roasted potatoes and a delicious rice pilaf - we thoroughly enjoyed our meal here at Al Wadi! The staff was friendly and the food delicious. Large menu but limited vegan options (except for sides which there are many of).

Very good food

We (two people) went here and ate four different “appetizers” - a rice dish, falafel, wine leaves and potatoes with garlic and herbs. It was so good!! The staff was knowledgeable about vegans and helped us with what we could eat.

Pros: Great food, many different tapas(-ish), Nice staff, helpful, Nice interior and music

Cons: Slightly expensive

Tocco medio-orientale

Consiglio sicuramente l’hummus!

Pros: Prezzi Contenuti, Disponibilità a variare i piatti proposti, Buon Cibo

Cons: Poche alternative

The best arabic food ever

I just love this place. I am addicted to their food now!
They have vegan options (naturally occuring in arabic food). I have never tried such a tasty and fresh food like here.
I would recomend the Falafel, the Baba Ghanouj, Tabbouleh, Hummus, and more! Prices are average 5-6 euros each.
If you come to Seville, is a MUST!

I'm offended by the plate size

It was way to expensive for what you get. When paying 6.50€ for hummus, I'm expecting a hummus plate with at least enough bread and some vegetables, but here I got a tiny amount of hummus and one small pita bread. The taboule was to acidic and tasted like biting into a lemon. It was too expensive, not enough and the taste was just ok. I was disappointed and am still surprised about the bill.

Cons: Expensive, tiny portions

Hi Magischmarthe, you know that if you ask they give you endless bread right? Hummus price is 5.50 euro, so your prices is incorrect also.

Plenty vegetarian options

Excellent Syrian restaurant with a wide variety of vegetarian meals, clearly labelled on the menu. Many of them seem to be vegan as well, and the staff had a good level of English, so would likely be able you choose what you need. Great service.

Various vegan options, mediocre food

It was nice to find this restaurant on Christmas Eve when I was desperately looking for places that served vegan food. There were tons of vegan options, but to be perfectly honest, the food wasn't as good as I expected. There was too much lemon in the tabouleh. The spicy potatoes and the baba ganoush were okay. The only dish that I could recommend is mujaddara, rice pilaf with lentils.

Pros: Multiple vegan options

Cons: They serve meat, Mediocre food

Vegetarian mix platter

18.5€ for a very big middle east dish. Enough fot 2 people to share. It's not all vegan but they can change non-vegan options for you

Cons: Reaggeton most of the time (but it's personal)

Quite a few vegan options, freshly cooked food

Food is cooked fresh here which was lovely and the staff were very helpful. We had roasted aubergine dip (forgotten the actual name of the dish) and garlic roasted potatoes, both of which were very tasty - the roasted aubergine especially. Both were side dishes that could be made into bigger portions. Beware the dishes are quite oily - its just a part of the cuisine - so if you are looking for really healthy food this might not be the right place!

Pros: Nice setting, Freshly cooked food

excellent food

The food was tasty, i tried the babaghanouj which was (well) surprising because of the smokey taste. Doulma great but small quantity. Arabic potatoes which were in reality similar To fries but tasty as well !
Doggy bag ! Nice couscous presentation.
Vegetarian labels but you have to ask to know what is vegan .

Nice food, but not returning

Yummy falafels, but salad was pretty average. Not a hug amount of main meal options but creating a meal with entrees and sides is doable. Won’t be returning because of their use of Halal meat, which, as far as my knowledge extends, is a brutal way of killing animals. I would love to be taught otherwise, if I am wrong. All in all, nice place, nice food, but nothing to scream about.

Pros: Not overly pricy for the dish sizes, Essentially yummy food, Delicious falafels

Cons: Halal meat, Can be pricy depending on order

Halal is not a brutal way of killing animals....ok that all ways are horrors but halal way treat the animals like animals all their life, they can not live in cages or eat processed foods from other animals...for exemple
