Enough vegan options

They have quite some vegan opties. Not that much 'traditional' food, but to me that's not much of a problem.
I really liked the mousaka (I even went back the other day to have it again).
Very friendly staff, their English is good enough to explain veganism.

great restaurant that I will definitely visit again. Typical Jordanian also what the people are concerned, just adorable. Thank you Baha Asri

In search of a good restaurant I came across the Al Wadi. The restaurant was well filled but I got a seat (for groups I would recommend a reservation). Since I am a vegetarian, I always try to find a restaurant that has authentic meatless menus. The food was fantastic and especially the fresh bread was first class. I was served by Baha Asri, an absolutely friendly waiter who recommended a typical Jordanian dish. Since I was sitting outside and it was getting a bit chilly, he even brought me a blanket so I wouldn't be cold during the meal.
A great restaurant that I will definitely visit again. Typical Jordanian also what the people are concerned, just adorable. Thank you Baha Asri

The best food I had in Jordan

The Maklouba is highly recommended. After a long whole day of hiking, going to Al Wadi was the best decision we could make. I didn’t want to settle again with falafel 😌.

The warm just-made pita was amazing.
It’s more expensive than the average, but it’s absolutely worth the price.

Pros: Friendly service, (Be patient when asking for ingredients), I loved the mint tea ☕️

Ottimo e consigliatissimo ristorante!

Ottimo e consigliatissimo ristorante!

Pros: Cibo eccellente, Personale amichevole baha asri

Great location, many vegan options, good taste and great staff

We had a great lentil soup, galllayeh, fries and we love the bread! Not cheap but good for what you get. Abo Kinda and the guys were very nice with us and help us to get vegan options.

Cons: Some main our a little to expensive

Nice restaurant

It might be the only choice for vegans but it's not a bad one. The staff is super nice and welcoming. I even got free tea.
The Maklouba was alright, but the Hummus with fresh and crispy bread was extremely good.

Good vegetarian and vegan options

Might be the only restsurant in Petra with a bigger choice of vegetarian and vegan options besides the usual hummus, baba ganoush, etc. Nice place and friendly staff.

Pros: vegan options, helpful staff, nice place

Cons: meat on display outside, a lot of traffic outside and noisy

Cozy restaurant

The falafel sandwich is delicious, the Maklouba is a rice dish with vegetables, and rice cooked in a casserole. The service is great. The owner was excited about the existence of the Happycow website.
