Amei a comida

O missô é delicioso mas não perguntei dos ingredientes. Pedi um prato simples. É um ambiente agradável e confortável.

Pros: Delicioso

Cons: Nao é 100% vegan?

Delicious

Had a little trouble deciphering the menu as they didn’t have an English one. They did their best to try to translate though and asked us if we could eat onion, green onion, or garlic We ended up with a couple of set menu items (seasonal) and they were great. Clean and full of flavor. The side dishes were quite good as well.

Cons: No English menu

Gorgeous restaurant, very caring shop owner/chef, amazing food

The restaurant's name at the front is not 'Ajyari', but look out for the paper umbrellas and the tiny garden in front of the store. The owner/chef is super friendly and caring about the things you can eat and will ask you if onion, garlic, milk and egg is ok or not if you mention vegan. There are some options for meatless meals, which differ mainly in size, I think. Upon ordering f.e. desserts, she will inform you if milk was used in the preparation as well. We had the veggie set meal which was a large bowl of greens, fake chashu meat, brown rice, pickles and soup, which were all amazing in preparation, presentation and taste. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated as well and sells some food items such as homemade breads, which we witnessed being sold very quickly during our visit. This place is definetely recommended if you're around the area, best skip the food in and around the cup noodle museum.

Pros: Very kind and caring owner, Delicious food, good value, Gorgeous restaurant

Cons: A little pricey

Vege friendly near Ikeda station and Ikeda Castle Ramen Museum

Ajyari is a healthy yet delicious Japanese traditional-style restaurant. The top vegetarian and vegan friendly place closest in distance to the Ikeda Train Station and Ikeda Castle, or famous Instant Ramen Museum. Very useful if you are traveling to those.
They have a dish called Kurumafu in Japanese - a juicy soy fillet that looks like meat but isn't.
Tofu with wasabi is also a big hit.
They have English menu and photos, so you can order in English.
Home baked bread, rolls and cookies/cakes available for carryout as well.
Useful tip: The place is small and cosy, and can get packed at lunchtime, so better arrive just before noon, or after 1:00.
Desserts are great with coffee and tea. Low sugar.
