Bento Box/Musroom Rice was perfect - Edit
The restaurant was very classy and clean, the salad has this incredibly tasty dressing that is light and refreshing. The bento box was expensive but huge and worth the price. I reccommend the Japanese apple juice. The musroom rice was quite bland but I have a cold so that may be the reason.

Missed opportunity? - Edit
I have been to Ain Soph Journet, Ripple, and Soar, and left happy with my experience. Not so much this time.
Read moreI went for lunch on a Sunday, and the lack of choice was quite disappointing: two pancake based dishes, a bentô thing, and hayashi rice. I chose the latter. It was ok, but nothing special.
I could have finished with one of their awesome desserts - the pancakes and the tiramisu being my favorite - but I decided to not make an already not cheap meal more expensive. Maybe next time, if I feel like visiting again.
Pros: Desserts!
Cons: Too few lunch choices, Expensive.

Lovely little vegan oasis in Ginza - Edit
We came for lunch to this cosy little place just around the corner from the Kabukiza theatre. Everything vegan and menu in English. The bento and vegan pancakes dessert was incredible!

Very tasty, but pay attention to the location - Edit
I went to the Ginza store and the food was great, I had the Mushroom Hayashi Rice with Small Salad, salad dressing was amazing and the main dish was also good.
Read moreFrom their website you can access the menus and that's what I did, BUT I the Ginza location does not serve the burgers (actually the menu is completely different from the Hiroo location).
If you are looking for the burgers/burritos Hiroo is your place. The Ginza menu looks a lot more fancy and (in fact) double the price from their menu in the website.
I like it but I would not come bavk again because it is not so affordable.
Pros: Tasty, Vegan, They understand English
Cons: Not the same menu as they have on the website, High price

Great Vegan Japanese food experience - Edit
Though a bit pricy, you can get an authentic Japanese style box meal that’s totally vegan. Nice atmosphere and good service! You can try a wide variety of dishes in small quantities :)

Tasty food in nice setting - vegan fondue! - Edit
Attentive staff and tasty food. Missed out on an amazing looking Tuesdays only vegan sushi set as we needed to pre book. We had fondue and karate instead which was really tasty. Recommend, especially desserts.

Tasty, healthy food - Edit
This was a great option for lunch on a chilly winter's day. The mushroom stew and rice was warming and the bento box was varied and creative. Served with lovely Japanese tea and efficient service in a small but warm room upstairs from the juice bar. A very enjoyable visit.

Delicious Vegan Restaurant in Tokyo - Edit
The Ain Soph restaurants seem to be closed for the first 4-7 days of the new year (as were most other veg spots in Japan), so call in advance. We booked a table for a Monday night dinner in early January after their winter break, but the reservation wasn’t necessary as the restaurant wasn’t too full. The meal was incredible! We’ll definitely return next time we’re in Tokyo.

Super delicious - Edit
This is another restaurant part of the Ain Soph chain in Tokyo. Unlike the Ripple restaurant in shinjuku, this one here in Ginza is a lot more expensive but the feel of the restaurant and vibe is completely different.

Great food - Edit
I tried the "box of the day" with 9 items, which was delicious but I do not recommend it, it is expensive and rather small. Also tried the soy meat cutlet which was delicious and big. The NY cheesecake and the Nougat glacé were delicious too, although the cheesecake was very small.

Good food but to expensive - Edit
I went to this place without reading any reviews and just thinking it would be similar to the other ones in their chain.
Read moreI had the lunch special "Heavenly pancakes with salad". Both of them tasted very well and they were really nicely presented. A lot of different types of fruit to the pancakes. The portions was filling enough.
However... super super expensive. I've could have easily gotten breakfast, lunch and dinner for the price that I paid for my meal here. So in the end it was not worth it.
The restaurant itself is located on the second floor and it's small but cosy.
Pros: Great food
Cons: Super expensive

Great food, weird policy - Edit
I came here to eat the pancakes which was extremely delicious. My husband came here when I was about to finish my meal and took a small piece of the pancakes then the waitress came and said he cannot eat with me due to their policy. Seriously? He was just tasting it!

Okay but not amazing and not worth the price - Edit
In my opinion this place is overrated and overpriced. From reading other reviews we were expecting good or great food that had some degree of complexity. What we got was dull and uninspiring.
Read moreThe carrot pottage was very tasty, the best thing we ate here, such a shame the portion was quite small.
The breaded soy meat was quite nice but expensive for what it was.
The 9 items in a box was okay but pretty boring, the price is a rip off for what we got as it was so simple, little skill involved in preparing it (I can see from photos that it’s not always the same as we were given).
The chocolate cake was a bit dry and uninspiring though the cream with it was nice.
The bill was brought over (unasked for) just as we began to eat our mains so I had to put my chopsticks down to take it and try to find room for it on the table - and it had to be redone after we ordered dessert. (It was well before closing time.)
I saw someone served a wrap, this was quite a big portion but still with shrouded in clingfilm which he had to peel off himself! Not what I’d expect in an expensive restaurant.
Cons: Food mainly dull & simple , Beware - it is up a flight of stairs
