Fantastic Vegan burger 💚 - Edit
The best Vegan burger I had in Azores! On the menu it is written as a vegetarian burger but states it can be made vegan. So i got it vegan, the patty is made of chickpea & azorean yam, delicious!!! Plus had a very tasty home made blackberry juice! Friendly staff & chill vibe, the place is inside the mercato 🥰🍀🦋☮️ Went here because i found it reviewed on happy cow as having good vegan options, so thanks happy cow!!! 😃🙏✨💚🌈

Nice summer salad with beans and chickpeas (vegan option). The portion could be a bit bigger though. Homemade lemonade was also good. Important: they take only Portuguese cards or cash.

We visited this place several times during our stay on Faial. The vegan burger is sooo delicious with homemade bread and chickpea patty. Coffee is also very good and staff is amazing 🤩

Read more1. Va mucha gente, por lo que puede que te toque esperar más de 30 minutos en la cosa para pedir. Y a parte, lo que tarden en prepararlo. Además, no aceptan reservas, así que hay que ir pronto.
2. Como hay tanta gente, a veces se quedan sin ciertas cosas. El día que fuimos, se quedaron sin limonada casera, sin pan vegano y sin uno de los dos postres que tienen en la carta.

It started with a bit of disappointment. Even though the menu says the vegetarian burger can be made vegan, the waitress told me they weren’t able to do it that night because they didn’t had the bread to replace the “bolo levedo” (kind like an English muffin made with eggs and cream). I ask her if it was possible to have it on a plate instead and she said yes.
