Manufacturer of extra virgin olive oil, selling three olive oils made from the family's olive groves. Call ahead to arrange a tour during harvest time. Offers free tours of the oil mills. Open daily. Open Mon-Sun 00:00-00:00.
We tasted and bought some good extra virgin oil.
The owner was very friendly and dedicated some time to explain the processes and story of the family farm.
For the rest, no (other) vegan products or vegan friendly related notes..
We were in Groznjan and I was looking for some nice restaurant at happy cow when this little „shop“ pops up. So we drove there and weren’t disappointed. The supernice owner and manufacturer of that oil welcomed us and let us try his three different flavors. And what can I say? It was one of the best Olive oil I ever had! And I had some in Italy, Israel and Porto before.
Go there if you are in that area! It’s totally worth it!
Oh and take some cash with you. It’s not possible to pay by card.
Best olive oils that can't be compared with those from the supermarket - Edit
On our vacation in croatia, my girlfriend and I wanted to visit an olive oil manufacturer. We already visited the oil museum in Pula, but that wasn't just enough.
I found this plantation in a very short research on Google. The reviews were highly positive, so we decided to travel to the plantation.
The travel was very adventurous. The paths lead us through forests and up and down some mountains. We often had a great view.
After about an hour we finally arrived at this very small village with nearly 30 residents at the top of a small mountain. From there you can see directly through the valley with the huge olive plantations.
At first we had to search a little bit for the small shop, could find a sign then in a few minutes.
A middle-aged man sat in a courtyard driveway and asked us if we want to taste the his olive oils. We agreed and he then showed us his 3 types of oils.
After a short chit-chat he then offered us to take a tour through the oil mill. A few steps away was a greater hall, where the modern mills were in.
He was telling us every little detail and explained to us, how the process of the harvest and the oil-extraction is working.
After all we had a great time at the mill and had a very friendly host.
And of course we had to buy some of the extra virgin olive oils for us and gifts for friends and family.
I can only recommend to take a travel to this wonderful plantation if you are nearby.
