Favorite Coffee Shop Of All Time! - Edit
5 Stars!! I loveeeee Agora! Best coffee I’ve ever had. They roast their beans on sight and NEVER charge for non-dairy milk! Agora offers plenty of vegan pastries that get changed up daily. They almost always have cookies and muffins but change up between biscotti, cake pops, scones, and even macaroons! Everything I’ve had at Agora has been delicious. Cute inside, cute outside, and the staff is always friendly! Thank you agora for looking out for us vegans!!

5 STARS. Vegan pastries, no charge for non dairy milk. - Edit
Every time I’ve gone in (frequently if I’m in town), all of the pastries were fully vegan. They always have 6 options, too. From cookies to muffins to scones, all vegan and the most delicious. The coffee beans are roasted in the backyard with the most gorgeous vine-hanging gondola to adore. Agora is an anomaly to find and you will be welcomed with a smile. Thank you so much

Amazing coffee - Edit
This the best coffee I've ever had. Their coffee has so much flavor and they have 3 plant milk options (oat, almond, and soy). I tried the oat milk latte and it was creamy and delicious. The coffee is also a perfect temperature, hot enough to be a delightful warm drink but not too hot to burn your mouth. They also have a lot of vegan desserts, I didn't try any yet but can't wait to in the future. I don't like overly sweet coffee so I was happy they didn't add anything but plant milk. The coffee has so much flavor on its own. If you love flavorful coffee without too much added sweetness this place is perfect.

Wish I could give it 5 stars! - Edit
I wish I could give this place 5 stars because this place is beyond amazing, but I can’t since it’s not 100% vegan or vegetarian. But they do have plenty of vegan options here, but I mostly only order their coffee which is super good. The frozen vegan dessert is delicious. However, I’ve checked out some of the other reviews, and it looks like their are vegan baked goods here too. They also allow you to use a plant based milk in any of the beverages with no additional charge, unlike other places (Starbucks!). Also, they have a really nice outdoor eating area.

Deserves five stars for the vegan options they provide - Edit
Cozy community coffee shop in the truest sense; vegan options are omnipresent, and the baristas and bakers are happy to discuss or accommodate according to diet. Very conversational and friendly, it’s truly the best place to grab coffee, baked goods, and an easy environment for the vegan in downtown fredericksburg.

Creative and Fun for Drinks and Gift Shopping - Edit
We were looking for a coffee shop with food options and chose Agora based on their description. The drink options are super duper fun and creative. The shop itself is ridiculously charming. The staff is trained well and interactive. The food options... not so accurate. We did not see any gluten-free options and everything was pre-made so we could not order anything to our liking. For example, we would have loved to try their chick-pea salad on lettuce (instead of on the pre-made sandwich). We ended up ordering oatmeal (they have fun combinations there), but because it was pre-measured, it was full of sugar so it spiked my system and made me quite nauseous because I don't generally eat sugar. So this is a GREAT place for drinks of all types. Definitely would consider food elsewhere.

Agora has great coffee (just about anything you want) and great munchies. They are all fresh and either made to order or are homemade. Non-dairy milks are readily available. The staff all are very friendly and knowledgeable.

A Local's Perspective of Agora - Edit
My wife and I live very close to this establishment. We remember the nice elderly couple who lived in the old yellow house before it was taken over by two young women who turned it into a business: selling good coffee and finger food. Agora is in a cool historic house. We look forward to Agora maturing and wish them well.

Got a vegan wrap and cookie. Wrap was meh but the cookie was GREAT. This is a perfect place to go for good vegan coffee and pastries with a nice, calm atmosphere.

Decent selections, great coffee. - Edit
The wraps they offer are premade, they do a good job of placing expiration dates on most items so that's nice. Good selection of vegan sweets just double ask what's vegan seemed to be some confusion. Kombucha on hand. And some alternative plant milks for espresso or coffee.

Best vegan-friendly coffee place, and I've been to many! - Edit
If you're looking for any, some, or all of the following:
Read more- Freakin' AMAZING coffee and tea (including "adult" coffees and specialty liquors)
- Freakin' AMAZING fresh bakery items, sandwiches, etc., both baked live in house and by local vendors, including vegan/dairy-free options
- Awesome vibe, with great casual seating
- Warm, welcoming, and super freakin' nice people (the owners, a pair of young sisters and their family running the joint; i.e. locally owned
- Free wifi, charging stations, & dog-friendly outdoor seating
- Used bookstore
- free parking within a block
- Live performances
- Many locally-made crafts and wares for sale
- Did I mention the freakin' AMAZING COFFEE?!?!?!
This place captures everything I've been looking for in a local coffeehouse: absolutely delicious coffee (including "adult coffee" with unique liquor mixtures) in a variety of roasts and flavors from a local roaster, dairy-free/vegan options (including fresh, made in house baked goods), local vendors for their food and crafts/wares for sale, free wifi, live music, an intimate, warm and welcoming atmosphere that encourages you to stay and come back, and staff that are truly wonderful people. The two young sisters that run this converted house in historic downtown Fredericksburg are models for locally-owned, hardworking business owners. Always with smiles on their faces, quick to greet you, answer questions, and make recommendations. If I lived within walking distance and could afford it, I'd be spending all my free time and money there. They've crafted some really fantastic and interesting flavor combinations. First time there I had a caramel/brown sugar/cinnamon soy latte in a real coffee mug and fresh made blueberry/coconut oatmeal served in a mason jar. The salted chocolate chip cookies and pumpkin muffins are mouthwatering and you would never suspect they are vegan. Even fooled a hardcore carnivore I was with. And prices are more than reasonable. Please give them a try and support a local business.
Pros: Wide, eclectic variety of beverages/quality coffee, Many vegan goods baked fresh in house daily, cozy, warm, inviting atmosphere & owners
Cons: I don't live closer, I'm not filthy rich so I can't eat all meals there, There's only one of these places
