Serves meat, vegan options available. Traditional food from Ethiopia and Eritrea. The vegetarian dishes are all suitable for vegans. Open Tue-Fri 12:00-14:00, 17:00-23:00, Sat 14:00-01:00, Sun 14:00-23:30.
Friendly people, lovely food. Also the mint tea is really good.
I would recommend getting the "Vegetarischer Probierteller" to check everything out. If you are two people I would get one of those and a shero wot, which is not included in the probierteller but superb!
I really like this place. They have many options for vegans and all of them are tasty. I always go with the mixed plate where you get a little of everything. The staff is really nice too and the prices are very good. Also the portions are quite big, especially because you can get as much injera (Ethopian flatbread) as you want, so you definitely won't leave there hungry.
We went there for an early dinner and were lucky to get a table without reservations.
The place is a bit hidden in a back alley.
I had the 'vegetarian try out plate' everything was really good, some sauces were spicy others mild.
They had several vegan options, labeled as vegetarian. The service was attentive and friendly
We tried all three vegan options (Messir, Alicha and dinich Wot) and can recommend them all. They dishes were all well seasoned (differ in their degree of hotness) and the staff courteous. Not especially cheap but still all right.
