PSA to avoid Afghan Rahimi restaurant in Dandenong who claim to have vegan options and a vegan banquet . My brother gave us a voucher for my birthday and tonight they served me a dish with yogurt which I only noticed wasn’t vegan after eating a mouthful and felt sick , when I asked what the taste was they admitted dairy was in my meal.
End result with the manager pointing his finger at us and yelling because I was quietly upset and we wanted to leave and we did not apparently accept his apology in the proper way ( we said thank you on the way out the door before he accosted us ) .
He then told my Sri Lankan partner to go back to his own country ( racist SOB mistakenly took him for Fijian and told him to go back there 🤦🏼‍♀️) .
First time we have been out to dinner in 2 months after my Dad died and we were so looking forwards night out. Manager made us feel unsafe yelling and pointing his finger in mouth faces .i cried the whole drive home ,night was ruined .
