Adriana was able to customize every order to make it vegan. I was given a few taster samples of salsa to make sure it matched my pallet. Highly recommend

Incredible service, good food - Edit
We were welcomed into this lovely establishment by Adriana. I asked for the vegan burrito (not on the menu, have to specially request) which was tasty and a large portion. It’s a super laid back atmosphere and the service is just great. Check it out if you’re in the area.

Delicious food and friendly service - Edit
We are in Arizona for the first time in a vacation. Found Adriana's Mexican Restaurant on Happy Cow, got validation from a local, and so glad we came to this great family owned (women owned!) and run restaurant. Adriana is so friendly and accommodating. She made me a huge burrito, and a taco, and brought her sons blackberries for dessert. My husband is not vegan and enjoyed his plates very much! You won't be sorry! You will be full!

Adriana’s deserves 5 stars, but I understand it’s only for fully vegan. Adriana’s does a wonderful job, and will take care of you if you’re vegan providing you a vegan burrito or whatever you want. Exceptional service and food. #Veganuary

Love Adriana!! - Edit
Such authentic beautiful confident service from Adriana herself! As soon as we told her we were vegan she took charge and said she’d take care of us, gave my husband what he requested..a bean burrito heavy on beans - he was nervous lol but loved it so much! I got a delicious healthy salad with pinto refried beans on the side. A great experience.

My go to place for a great lunch or dinner. My favorite is a roasted vegetable burrito and the potato burrito. My daughter loved her taco.

Super sweet waitress and great food! - Edit
This is a Mexican restaurant that can accommodate vegan options. Just tell her what you want and she’ll make it vegan for you! She was so sweet and promised she would take care of me when I told her what I wanted. I would definitely go back! I’m traveling and they would never be this accommodating in the south.

5 star experience! - Edit
Adriana's is open. They are located next to the corner building that says "for rent". We told Adriana that we were vegan and she said, "I will take care of you". They even clean the grill before preparing our plant based entrees. Our food was delicious. We were served veggie fajitas (peppers, broccoli, squash, onions) with beans and pico. Also a bean and potato burrito with green sauce. Everything was delicious and Adriana is the queen of caring and customer service. We're going back for spinach enchiladas before we leave Cottonwood.

Adriana’s FTW - Edit
Every review that says “just tell them you’re vegan” is correct. Adriana started as a server so she knows the many allergies/diets, etc. She will make you delicious food based on what she has available. We had a great experience. Also, make sure you get the hot salsa with your chips.

Very accommodating - Edit
I had an extremely positive experience here. It's not particularly veg, there's no vegan/vegetarian section on the menu, however, they definitely take you very seriously. The moment I asked my waiter if he minded if I took a few pictures for my Happy Cow review, he instantly said let me go back and get my mom to help you with your order and only a minute later, out came Adriana herself. She sold me on whipping up an avocado, potato green chili burrito. Service was fast and authentic. Meal was delicious. Price was lower than I would have anticipated for what I got. Everyone was nice and polite. I'm not going to have anything for the Cons section except the possibility of adding a vegan/veg section to the menu.

Fantástico - Edit
When we were being seated we asked if they had a vegan menu. The person sitting said that his mom had it in her head. When she came over she asked what sounded good to us. My partner had a potato and bean tostada. I had the spinach enchiladas. They were the best enchiladas I have ever eaten. The in house made tortillas and salsa were to die for. We can’t wait to have an excuse to travel to Cottonwood again to eat here.

Feels like family - Edit
The lady who is almost always there will make you feel like a beloved nephew, and she is the cool aunt that spoils you whenever you’re there. Just tell her you’re a vegan, and she’ll whip you up a killer burrito that tastes amazing and authentic. One of the few restaurants in old town that still feels like a mom and pop place, and it really deserves to be patronized.

Adriana’s was a great place to stop in and grab a tasty vegan burrito. When I told Adriana I was vegetarian and non dairy she made me a customized order and it was one of our top meals while visiting Sedona. The staff was very friendly and this felt like the place where locals come to eat. Highly recommend.

Owner knowledgeable & accommodating - Edit
I went to Adriana's based on other reviewer recommendations. The owner, Adriana, waited on us. As soon as I told her I was vegan, she cheerfully & confidently told me "I will take care of you". Then she came up with an off the menu suggestion, a delicious vegan burrito stuffed with vegan beans, broccoli & other veggies and then topped with a green sauce. It came with a side salad and refried beans (so big I took half home for leftovers). We wanted to order guacamole, but because hers normally has some milk to make it creamy, she made a special alternative with chopped avocado instead, It was delicious. The tortilla chips are vegan and the salsa was excellent. She also let me know about vegan desserts she could make (grilled fruits with agave). I would highly recommend this vegan-friendly restaurant and hard-working, friendly & accommodating woman business owner. Since 5 star ratings are only for veg restaurants only, I'm rating the max of 4.

Owner caters to vegans! - Edit
We found Adriana's on Happy Cow and were not disappointed. She made us the best "vegan burrito" filled with beans, potatoes, avocado, green peppers, and onions. Then topped it with tomatillo sauce, lettuce, and tomatoes. As a Texan we've had a challenging time finding legit Mexican food as good as home in the area but Adriana'[censored] the mark! The tomatillo sauce was fantastic! It had the perfect spice level which is hard to find in this area. It's not bland or mild, it was perfect! The margarita and chips & salsa were delicious too!

Super friendly, vegan-aware owner! - Edit
I spoke to the owner today and she said the mixup with them being "maybe closed" (as the title on Happy Cow suggests) stems from a temporary closure. She said they close for about two weeks each December for the holidays, but otherwise open per Google-listed hours. Super friendly and vegan-aware. She asked if I were vegan then said she'll cook "the best vegan meal you've ever had!" Did not disappoint!

For vegans trying to find a good tasting, friendly, professional, attentive restaurant come here. Portions are huge and our server knew exactly what we wanted (she even told us we couldn't have any of the rice because it was cooked in chicken broth). And the food was delicious! If you're ever in Cottonwood definitely come here to eat. You won't be disappointed

Extremely accommodating for vegans - Edit
Adriana was very accommodating to our vegan needs. We told her we found her on Happy Cow (had to explain to her what that app was) & she was extremely gracious. Made us a delicious potato burrito smothered in chili verde & also some amazing spinach enchiladas with rice & beans. As both our families are from Mexico, we get intense cravings for some Mexicana comida, & Adriana’s did not disappoint. Highly recommend for any passerby!

Adriana's Mexican Food - Edit
My husband and I (both vegan) and non-vegan friend visited this restaurant in Cottonwood, AZ. recently, I would give it 5 stars, but it is not fully vegetarian or vegan.
Read moreHowever, the owner, Adriana, quickly surmised we are vegan when I asked about getting burrito without cheese. She said, "allow me to look after you", which we did.
She made each of us a different vegetable burrito with homemade flour tortilla (no
lard). The first one had pureed beans with potatoes and avocados, covered with a tomatillo sauce and with tomato and lettuce salad on the side. This was absolutely to die for! The second one was similar, but instead of potato had broccoli and cauliflower. Also extremely good, but we both gave the edge to the potato burrito.
Our non-vegan friend enjoyed his food as well, and we returned the next day, This
time Adriana made us spinach enchiladas, with avocado salad and black beans on the side. Delicious! Not only were the burritos and enchiladas the best I have ever
had, but Adriana herself was delightful and clearly enjoyed making her customers happy. I wish I could give her a perfect rating. Vegans and vegetarians should go here!
Pros: excellent food, owner knowledgeable about vegetarian/vegan meals, owner fast

Great Food. - Edit
They don't have anything on the menu that is labeled vegan at this time. My wife and I both ordered the veggie burritos with no cheese and Adriana asked if we were vegan. We said yes and she replied that they will make us two different vegan burritos that were not on the menu. They also whipped up something vegan for our toddler.

Pros: Will go out of way to give vegan options.
