Bad vegan chicken - Edit
Really didn’t enjoy the vegan chicken, the texture was bad and it tasted very bland. It was also around £2 extra compared to meat, wouldn’t go again!

After being to the one in Soho I thought i'd venture to this one too. Just as good. The vegan chicken burger is so so good and the closest thing to chicken I've had since going vegan.

We went for brunch to this junk food diner. The wooden tables, benches and booths makes it feel very American style, and the random bird cages with lights gives it a quirky note. They mostly serve chicken, but they have a few vegan options, which is always nice to see.
Read moreI ordered the chckn waffles, which met my expectations, both by the waffles and the texture and flavour of the no-chicken strips. The batter was thin and crispy, and the meat replacement was as tender and tight as I remember chicken. This is the best vegan chicken I have tried so far. My partner had the Korean style burger, which had kimchi, and we also had sides of fries and more chckn tenders, because we were very hungry! And there was nothing left when we finished.
What I love the most was definitely the chckn and I also liked all the vegan sauces that came with the food. I would definitely go back to try the vegan burgers.

Had to ask the waiter to turn down the volume of the music which they did but it was still hard maintaining a conversation. The vegan food was good. Their mac'n'cheese was scarely close to the non-vegan thing.

Vegan Chicken and Waffles - Edit
Tried this with my recently vegan boyfriend and both really liked it and the quorn they used in place of the chicken was amazing. Really well seasoned batter and the waffles were really fluffy. The only downside was that we could have done with more maple syrup for the waffles.
