Not many vegan option left - Edit
Apparently the owner has changed. There is now only a smoothie bowl, a main meal (Tzatziki is probably not vegan), which is vegan and a few side dishes and smoothies. But milk alternatives are available. But it wasn't a flat white, more like a normal coffee with milk foam.

Magic - Edit
My boyfriend swears he saw Harry Potter and Hagrid tucking into the jackfruit burrito here - they looked very pleased. Also a fave for cocktails

The burritos was nice and spicy. I thought it was going to be huge based on the description, but it was just the perfect size. Tasty. Good coffee too

Nice cafe - Edit
Small cafe with friendly staff. They have a separate vegan menu so I tried the lentil, pumpkin, and kumara tagine. The fresh coriander gave it a nice kick. There’s outdoor seating on a porch.

Ask for the vegan menu! - Edit
Our meal (of starters and tapas) was excellent. They do have vegan cheese for several dishes, as well as a vegan dessert.

Good food. Bad service. - Edit
This place would’ve received a 4 star for decently good food and ambiance, but I got a lecture for them putting jalapeños on an order that I loudly and repeatedly requested no jalapeños on. Don’t tell me how to order when you messed up! So you get 2 stars because your service sucks. *The sucky service was from one seemingly male identified staff member only. He just didn’t get it even when we explained to him how rude he was!

Nice but $$$ - Edit
Really tasty, nice big serves but a touch of your usual “vegan option is the veg food minus the dairy with no replacements” situation. Very pricey. I had the vegetable Tagine and it was a little bland which is not great for $27

Great food and atmosphere - Edit
We took our family of 6 for a vegetarian lunch. Nachos, huevos rancheros, and veggie burrito; awesome. We all agreed that the cheese and sour cream were not necessary because it was so flavorful. Restaurant has tons of seating and good for groups and families. Would do vegan next time and try more of the beers!

Good vibes - Edit
Vegan options areas marked on the menu. Service was friendly and nice ambience in this cafe. My black bean nachos tasted better than they looked. Would have been good with more avo and salsa, but it was really tasty anyway.

Best vegan meal in Rotorua - Edit
Vegan options are not labelled but the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about what can be made vegan. We had the smothered veggie burrito followed by a coconut iced chocolate - both absolutely phenomenal. Restaurant also stocks lots of vegan ice cream and some desserts. A little pricey.

average - Edit
Nothing on the menu was vegan without modification, but the veggie fajita was doable once the sour cream was omitted. It was a little bland, with only small amounts of salsa provided. They did have vegan "bliss balls" and we took one home for dessert but it wasn't nearly as delectable as the non-vegan desserts looked.
