Tasty Buddha Bowl with tofu

There's a few vegan options from memory. Reason for my visit was lunch.

Last visit I wanted the Buddha bowl with sweet chilli tofu and sadly there was no tofu but this visit it was available and i wasn't disappointed. My favourite dish from the menu options esp as I love tofu. Portion was quite small for £10 though.

Pros: Venue can combine with gallery visit , Friendly staff

Cons: Feels a little expensive for portion size

Avoid for coffee

I went there for a coffee this afternoon. They had some delicious looking cakes but the only vegan option was a very dry and unappetising banana loaf. Having given it a go I then realised that the ‘oat milk’ latte I had ordered, stating twice that I wanted oat milk because he didn’t seem to be paying much attention, was in fact a weak, scalding cows milk latte, which I pointed out after the first sip. At least he had the decency not to ask for any payment. The Gallery is a lovely space, but it is off the table food and drink wise for me.

Cons: Indifferent service, Very poor cake options, They give non vegan shortbread treat with coffee

A nice place to have a coffee

The refurbished cafe is really nice and staff are always friendly and helpful. Lots of vegan options on offer on the menu (cake selection was a bit lacking - the banana bread was quite sad). Have previously had a salad from here - nice enough but a bit bland. Coffee is pretty good though and a great pit stop before having a look around the gallery.

Pros: Nice coffee, Plenty of options, Lovely setting

Cons: Food nothing to write home about
