A vegetarian traditional Japanese sweets cafe, specializing in "anko" (azuki/red bean) desserts. Many options are vegan, except chiffon cake, match pudding, ice cream, and others which contain dairy, honey and/or eggs. No plant-based milk option, so basically anything that is made with milk would contain dairy. However, most traditional Japanese sweets do not require milk. Japanese menu only but with lots of pictures, plus the owner speaks only Japanese. Open Mon-Sun 9:00am-8:00pm. Has an irregular day-off, so please check before going.

Great Japanese traditional confection

Not only is it authentic and delicious, the portion is waaaay more worth your money than if you were to have the same thing at a fancy amami dokoro in the city center.
If you like traditional Japanese azuki sweets like daifuku, sakura mochi, zenzai, manju, etc, and you were close by this area, you'd better not miss it!
The shop master is very friendly and funny, but can only speak Japanese.

Pros: Most items are vegan.

Cons: Wish they had plant-based milk alternatives.
