Lovely food from a family-owned business! A lot of dishes are suitable for vegans (just let them know). We had the nasi goreng which had amazing tempe satay to it. Afterwards I asked for a smaller tempe based side dish and they made me an amazing veggie compilation with tempe and a super yummy sauce.

The only thing we would wish for as vegans is that the menu gets specific labeling for the dishes so that dishes that are vegan anyway get a label on it so you don't specifically have to ask about the vegan option of the vegetarian dish. But they seem to be planning that anyway :)

It was just delicious and so healthy. So story behind it is lovely. I prefer spending my money on venues like this than a fancy restaurant Owens by someone who is never there. We were here yesterday evening and now are back for breakfast. Definitely go here.

We loved the chilled vibe, beautiful space and story behind this family restaurant. Nyoman went organic when his wife got sick and the local farmer delivers fresh organic vegetables daily.
Read moreAll the vegetarian options are organic. There's an extensive and well thought out juice menu - we tried 'kutuh green' (avocado, apple, orange, spinach) & Jamu (tamarind, turmeric, lemon, coconut water, honey). Both juices were amazing.
So was my Abe-do salad ☺ well worth the 3 minutes drive from central Ubud.

Really enjoyed ordering takeaway from this place, while staying down the street. Manager/owner very nicely recommends vegan options. Nice flavor, and very reasonably priced--especially liked the Tempe dishes and the fried potatoes.

I would have given a 5 stars if it were possible (Max rating for non veg restaurant is capped at 4 stars) Lots of great vegetarian options, good portions, great price. The best pumpkin soup (or anything pumpkin) that I have had in Asia. The vegetarian spring rolls with peanut sauce are also incredible. If coming to visit this restaurant I recommend using your own scooter or organising a way to get back home as it is a little far away, but well worth the journey.
