A savory/sweet combo that exceeded my expectations! - Edit
Very cool (literally and figuratively) combo of peanut ice cream, crushed peanuts, and (optional) cilantro wrapped in a summer-roll like tortilla. Might not be for everyone, but I enjoyed the new-to-me mix of flavors! Very affordable at 50 TWD, so well worth the risk (except for those with peanut allergies)
It's always exciting trying a street food snack that's vegan! There's a sign stating is vegan at the back and we asked about the ice-cream anyway - it's peanut sorbet😄very cold!! The server asked us if we wanted coriander inside. $50
The combination of ice-cream, peanuts and cilantro was definitely something new and really tasty in my opinion. For 50 NTD you should definitely give it a try even though it's touristy af.
The peanut ice cream roll was delicious! They have what looks like a tortilla, but I’m not sure what it is made out of, that they then sprinkle with crushed peanuts and put ice cream on top, plus cilantro if you’d like. They roll it like a wrap, and put it in a small bag to go. It was unique having cilantro in a dessert, but it worked well!
I did like this ice cream! It really was somewhat unusual with the coriander but it did make it more fresh and I liked it. Just wish there was a little bit more peanut flavour there and maybe something crunchy? But for 50TWD it is worth the try!
I’ll be honest, I hated this and had to throw it away. But since other people seem to like the product that must be a me problem and I won’t give it a bad rating.
It’s nice to be able to try the local food. And it’s cheap ($50) and clearly labelled vegan so that’s always good.
This was a great surprise to find that the ice cream was vegan! Do try it with coriander/cilantro as it is surprising refreshing. Lovely warm owners too.
I tried this intriguing icecream and was quite surprised about the taste. I saw vegan, I bought it without knowing what it was exactly lol. To be fair I'm not a big fan of coriander, so it wasn't a 10/10 for me. But I really enjoyed the peanut candy, and I think everything was a good mix and without coriander it would have been "incomplete". So I was happy to try, and will eat again if I have the occasion!
5 stars because it made me appreciate something I usually don't thanks to a good combination! And because it was written "vegan" in english (yes I'm not hard to convince)
Great find in Jiufen old street! The coconut ice cream has more of a sorbet consistency and the flavour isn’t super strong, but the peanut shavings and coriander are a great combination. Highly recommended!

Good to finally find a vegan version! Tasted pretty good but the ice cream was a bit crystalline and needed less of it.
