meh - Edit
sadly not very good, the fava bean soup was quite flavourless and the vegetables felt a bit cold and undercooked:(

Decent but touristy - Edit
It was good but the portions were small and one of the entrees was undercooked.
Read moreWe ordered the 3 tomato pasta that was superb (but small), the caponata (also really good) and a vegetable entree that we couldn't even eat because it was too raw.

Decent, not much choice - Edit
The only thing marked vegan on the menu is a fava bean soup, which I had - it was pretty bland. There are a couple salads that are vegan, and starters like olives, and bruschetta (I had olives with mint, they were fine). I asked if any of the pastas could be made vegan, and they said no (so maybe they're using fresh pasta made with egg?). I also had orange and onion salad, it was fine, not particularly interesting. All in all I wouldn't recommend for the food, but the atmosphere is nice and buzzy, it's a very popular place that gets a line-up in the evening. Prices are reasonable, and staff are welcoming.

Mediocre sandwich and gluten-free options - Edit
The vegan sandwich was okay at best. A little dull. But the other vegan options for dinner sounded promising.

Finalmente🥗 - Edit
Homely, great service and most importantly food was saporito and delizioso! After days of not having a plant based hot meal, we travelled from Catania to Siracusa, and my oh my, this place was an absolute delight. Thank you guys for making our visit one to remember. The blood orange salad was divine - please do try this! Their attention to detail was second to none and the waiter Damiano was the epitome of customer service, thanks bro!

Fava soup was divine - Edit
The best fava bean soup I’ve tried, it was delicious, full of flavour and great chunky texture. The restaurant is small but popular with friendly service. Top find.

A good find - Edit
It's not obvious to find a place with local cuisine which also carters for vegans in Sicily (I love pizza without cheese but...) AND is open during the day. So I appreciated it! The food was nice and not too expensive for the touristy area A Putia is located in. I had the fava bean soup, which was hearty and filling.

Good option - Edit
We had the pasta with pistachio and cherry tomatoes and it was very tasty. We also had the orange and fennel salad which was tasty too but the pasta was much better in our opinion. They out bread for free. 2 people with water was 18,5€

Great spot! - Edit
Great, cozy spot. We felt very lucky to be seated quickly when we arrived—it was crowded and we arrived at the perfect time for lunch. Clearly marked vegan options and the chickpea soup was so flavorful and filling.

Nice place that's open off season! - Edit
We were hunting for a long time for a place that's open off season (early March). This place has many yummy and filling options and the portions are generous.
