Good but not great - Edit
Negatives, the food was almost cold and although it was good I think there was something missing, specially the sauce of the bitoque, too lemony. The highlight for me in terms of flavour was the bolo de bolacha (best vegan I've ever had!) but the slice was super thin for the price you pay. However, I would recommend for the typical Portuguese flavours.

Tasty food big portions - Edit
I had the francesinha and it was delish. The sauce was creamy and full of flavour and the egg! It tasted like a real egg 😀 look forward to coming back here to try other dishes on the menu. Did not have space for the dessert after the main 🥴

Cozy restaurant serving veganized versions or typical Portuguese dishes like francesinha, rice octopus or pastéis de nata. Everything we tried was delicious, including dessert.

Amazing homemade comfort dishes - Edit
I had never tried Portuguese cuisine outside of Pasteis de Nata, but my God did it blow me away.
Read moreThe seitan steaks were some of the best food I've had in a while: comforting, rich, meaty and filling.
Deserts were also another highlight reminding me of my grandmothers cooking.
In fact, this seems to be the aim: dishes that recreate the cooking of their grandmothers but vegan. They ace it.

Matter of taste - Edit
If you like trendy vegetarian restaurants which serves food that tastes like meat and has modern minimalistic decor, I think you might like this place.
Read moreIs the food especially healthy, fresh or is it somehow going extra mile - no.
Is the atmosphere cozy or warm, authentic or especially comfortable - not really.
Concept restaurant, feels like its maybe owned by someone who does not work there, not bad but just not my favorite cup of tea.

We arrived late without a reservation and it was very full. Despite this the team founds us a table quickly without fuss. All the food we had was astonishingly well made, delicious and masterful. The atmosphere was great and very friendly.

The most flavorful food we had in a while, especially the "pica-pau" (seitan with sauce, garlic, herbs and chilli). It was worth to try more than the daily menu. We used all the bread to clean up the dishes. Congrats to the chef.

Reserve your spot for the best dinner in Lisbon. The egg on the steak was epic. Everything here is spectacular, just like in grandma's kitchen.

High quality traditional food made vegan - Edit
I wish I had ordered something else. Don't get me wrong, the francesinha was made perfectly and tasted exactly as it should (I mean, look at that "egg"!) ...it's just not the dish for me. But I could not leave Lisbon without having tried this traditional meal.

"Classic" food - Edit
This place has the Portuguese classic food dishes, but the vegan version.
Read moreAll full of taste, portions are spot on and the room environment is a nice one.
Definitely a place to check out if you like the home made food style.
From dishes that are more sauce/cream based to "steak" classics.
The desert I had the opportunity to try, doce da casa, was a sugar boom but with several flavours present.
Reservation is recommended on most days.
Staff is friendly and will help if needed.
Note that the front door is not very large, so it does not stand out in a distance.
Also, for busy times, do consider a reservation.
