I feel like a child in a candy store. So many rare vegan foods. Average pricing and great sales. Great place to stock up on cheese, meats, sauces, candy, cereal, ice cream, raviolis, tv dinners, organic produce, cookie dough, burritos, pizza...

Great for vegan specialties - Edit
A matter of health is such a great store for vegan cheeses, frozen foods, milks etc. For non special items, I would recommend going to your regular market as things can be a bit more expensive at a matter of health.

Customer service is Appalling - Edit
Avoid this store. There customer service is horrible and they choose who they wish to get requested items in stock for. They don't treat everyone the same. This is not fair. When you ask some of the employees a question they just ignore you and walk away, instead of saying I don't know and offer to get someone to help you. When you call and ask if they have an item in stock, they tell you yes and then when you come in they said they never had the item. I drove there for no reason. When you talk to a manager about it, his excuse is we are not perfect. There are much better health stores, such as Back to Earth in New City, NY, that are customer service oriented that I would recommend.

My favorite grocery store! - Edit
Awesome grocery store with tons of vegan food including in their hot buffet, juice bar and sushi options. Good prices on organic produce and groceries and frequent sales. While it's not entirely vegan, there really is so much and I don't have to see tons of dead animal flesh everywhere which is a nice change... It often feels like I'm in a vegan grocery store. They have A LOT of stuff - you can do all or almost all of your grocery shopping here including some specialty items. Friendly staff always happy to look for anything we can't find.

Love the food & selection, hate the help - Edit
The employees are nasty and unaccommodating for the most part. The owners are greedy and only care about the bottom dollar. I’ve been shopping here since they opened and will continue to do so because their selection is amazing.

A Matter of Health is a fantastic place. They have fresh organic produce, and all you'd expect from a great health food store and a salad bar and other dishes. The people there are really helpful and friendly and I highly recommend it!

Great Store with Juice Bar and Restaurant - Edit
I found this place thanks to Happy Cow. It is a nice sized store with reasonably priced organic produce, healthy food options, vitamins, etc. There is a terrific juice bar with lots of options and a restaurant with lots of healthy vegetarian options. The juice was delicious. The staff is friendly, outgoing, and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with this store and plan on returning!
