update: 2 vegan restaurants at that location by same owner - Edit
the owners of lotus (meito la and chichen la) have also taken over the 2nd floor restaurant and have a generous vegan buffet (48CNY per person as of nov 2019). upstairs on the 3rd floor is a vegan la carte with lots of mock meat dishes. they speak english well and are debunking the myth that tibetans can’t be vegan! meito la was very helpful,

Nice and good location - Edit
The place is easy to find if you read the previous reviews and look at the photos posted. Dishes vary anywhere from 18-60RMB so it really depends what you order. You can make it really cheap if that’s your plan. It is nice food and the staff is extremely helpful and kind. They may not have everything available on the menu, due to the season or quantity they’ve used on a given day. All in all. Top 3 to go in Lhasa.

A delicious and generous food size - Edit
A little tricky to find at first, but it is a gem in Lhasa. Beautiful seating area. Menu has english title and pictures. I highly recommend the sweet and sour pork. Service was fantastic. To get there, enter through the shopping centre, turn right and take the lift to the third floor.

Amazing vegan food! - Edit
This is by far the best restaurant for vegan (and veggie) food in Lhasa. There is a wide variety of vegan food, including vegetable, tofu, seitan and mock meat dishes. The dishes are very creative and come in large portions, so you get value for money! The restaurant has a great atmosphere and owner Meiduo speaks excellent English and is very welcoming and helpful. The menu has photos and descriptions in Mandarin and English. A must visit if you are in Lhasa.

Accidental discovery, iT'S AMAZING - Edit
Wowwwww is this place awesome! I went back for a 2nd visit, it was that good.
Read moreI noticed this place by accident when laughing at the gelato sign for the business on the floor below it, and I'm glad I did.
On my 2nd visit, they had the chef come out to take my order, because he spoke English, so that was kind of cool. I tried a couple things, and everything was DELICIOUS! Friendly service, lots of smiles, decent prices. I wish I could go a 3rd time.
Try the spicy mock-beef skewers from the appetizer section!
The menu has English and pictures, which is super great.
I tried to ask the chef about whether everything was vegan or if they have dairy (there's a "no egg" symbol on the menu), and it turned into him thinking I was trying to order a glass of milk, so I can't tell you what % of items are actually vegan, but it seems like most are.
Pros: No meat, Super friendly
