Not that good

The pizza was way too expensive. The pepperoni was not that good and it was overall very disappointing. The calzone was better then the pizza. The cashier told us we had 5 free ingredients in the calzone, but charged us for two of them without telling us.

Pros: Garlic crust/butter

Cons: Extras are very expensive

New Menu!

As of August or September 2022 they updated their menu with a while range of vegan pizzas! So far I tried the Vegan Supreme which came with tempeh and was really great. I love that the garlic butter on their crust is vegan too. Delicious!

Updated from previous review on 2022-09-30

Pros: Best crust, Good cheeze (Saputo), Many options

Cons: Pricey, Could add some more veggie toppings

It’s pizza

This is in fact pizza. But it isn’t good, and it is overpriced. Normally when I order the dough is so soft, it is almost inedible.
This time I ordered the gf crust, and asked for it to be well done. Somehow it is still softer than any other thin crust I have ever had.
And at $25-$40 a pizza, it’s just not worth it

Disappointed

Ordered on two separate occasions only to have very soggy vegan pizza, even picked it up the second time to ensure it wasn’t a delivery issue. The vegan cheese ruins your other toppings and the ingredients aren’t top for the cost. Truly disappointed and won’t be recommending it to any vegan friends. I ordered from the St. Mary’s location.

Pros: They have a vegan choice

Cons: Expensive , The cheese, Minimal toppings

Convenient Vegan Options

As one of the only pizza places in the city that can do a reasonably-topped pizza that's both vegan AND gluten-free (others can generally do one or the other but not both simultaneously - sigh), this place is a go-to for delivery. I find the pizza to be extremely tasty straight out of the box, crust especially, as others have commented; not so great the next day. But definitely a crowd-pleaser for things like kids birthdays or family get-togethers, where you want to a) not have to cook, b) please everyone, and c) get something purely vegan that everyone - vegans and non-vegans - will enjoy. Also: as another reviewer commented, they do use Daiya for the vegan cheez topping; and while I agree Daiya is bottom-tier vegan cheez, at least A Little Pizza Heaven uses the Cutting Board variety, which is far superior to the gluey Original Daiya. My non-vegan guests have all enjoyed it.

Pros: Tasty vegan options, Convenient for parties, Have vegan gf options

Cons: A bit pricey, Overcharge for vegan cheez/ Beyond, Overcharge for gf vegan crust

Great pizza, however...

This is definitely the best pizza in Winnipeg. A big reason for that is the garlic butter on the crust that I have been told on numerous occasions it is vegan, and an equal amount of times that it is not. With the fairly recent addition of daiya cheese and Beyond Meat crumble, it seems they’re more aware and I do believe the garlic butter to be vegan. It’s expensive, even considering how tasty it is and especially because their vegan toppings are basic (daiya is the bare minimum of vegan cheese and beyond meat crumble is hardly something I’d want on pizza). I appreciate the effort but it’s just not worth it to me. The eggplant is definitely my fave topping though, I recommend it. Calzones are the only thing worth the price in my opinion.

Pros: Delicious pizza, especially crust , Eggplant

Cons: Expensive , Vegan toppings are not worth the overall price , Staff not super knowledgeable (maybe has changed?)

Best Vegan Pizza in YWG

They have a Vegan pizza on the menu but the best vegan pizza they have is the Veggie pizza with Beyond Meat crumble and Daiya cheese substitute. It has every veggie in the place plus Veganized.

Pros: Delicious pizza , Many vegan options, Beyond Meat crumble
