Highlight in Aberdeen

Enorm geschmackvolles, würziges veganes Essen in einer ruhigen Umgebung mit sehr sympathischer Bedienung. Höchst empfehlenswert!

Lovely Indian and Nepalese restaurant

The moment you walk into the restaurant, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to the Nepalese and Indian kitchen. The interior is beautiful, the tables are set af if you’re gonna experience a fine dining experience. The staff is lovely and fast.

The food itself was above average. Would not say the best Indian and Nepalese food I’ve ever had, but definitely worth eating. The vegetarian and vegan dishes are marked on the menu and there’s even a vegetarian/vegan section. Although it states vegetarian dishes could be made vegan upon requested, when we asked for the ‘dal makhani’ to be made vegan, it was not possible. Felt a bit odd when it clearly says on the menu it could be made vegan upon request.

However, 8848 Restaurant is a perfect restaurant for a date night if you’re craving authentic Indian and Nepalese food.

Pros: Lovely interior and staff, Vegetarian and vegan section on the menu, Affordable Indian and Nepalese food

Cons: Not possible to make some dishes vegan
