boyfriends parents are friends with the chef; who just so happens to vegan! had wonderful vegan truffle fries and coffee ice cream.

Upscale, but homey at the same time. - Edit
Our second visit to Rood was a special occasion, and Kayla treated us like old friends. Not as crowded for dinner on a Tuesday, and we got a nice little secluded table for 2. The Caesar salad brought me back to the old days; it and the tofu "scallops" with a dreamy smooth curry were excellent. Everything was delicious, and worth the price for such a lovely experience. Actually a great amount of options and tastes really good! Don’t even have to break the bank if you stick to appetizers and desert. Great experience too
