Very tasty dumplings, with a lot of different vegan options. Good price.

If you are prepared for pretty bad customer service it’s an alright place. The soup was really tasty and filling but way way to salt.

Really bad customer service - Edit
Went with one of my colleagues, was very disappointed as she was very rude, she actually screamed at us, didn't tell which dish was veg and which was meat and just sighted. Had to ask her come back to tell us and she did it while shaking her head. Note, we were 2 of 4 people inside of the restaurant..

Not vegan dumplings? - Edit
Came here because of all the recommendations. Just to doublecheck I asked if the vegetarian dumplings were vegan, where there was some confusion and misunderstandings, but in the end I thought we all agreed on the dumplings being vegan. When we handed over the paper where we wrote the order, the kind lady started almost screaming NO VEGAN NO VEGAN (even though my company didnt even order vegan dumplings) and we got almost like pushed out of the place. Interesting.

Delicious dumplings - Edit
Very good vegan dumplings! You get a lot for the price and had really good flavor with good sauce. Would be better if a bit more crispy but still the best dumplings I've had since Hong Kong!

Best price value ratio in Sthlm - Edit
I gotta say I have a love hate relationship with this place. On the one hand the service, the hygiene etc is questionable. It is difficult to communicate with the owner which can make experiences stressful. Additionally I have ended up with meat dumplings before which is “the worst that can happen” if you are looking for vegan food. But then there’s also the food. The amazing dumplings that I am falling in love with every time. so I can’t really help it to go back there

Good value for money - Edit
Wanted to try this place after reading the reviews of the grumpy lady. She wasn't the friendliest but I wouldn't say she was rude. The dumplings were just fine, they were very watery and they would have been better if they were fried but you receive a lot for the price you pay since they are quite large. There are a lot of vegan options and you can pick any combination you want.

Super cozy dumpling spot with a grumpy lady, just perfect - Edit
This is exactly the place where I wanna eat my dumplings, just plain good food without swedish pretentious service [censored] around it. Well served by an old grumpy lady, who is a master of dumpling making. Just imagine you just had a really [censored] day and you just wanna come home to some homemade cozy food, made by your granny, who doesn’t bother anymore to even ask you about your day. If you like that, this is the place to go to. I personally find her very charming. I wished she was my old chinese grumpy nanny.

Worst service - Edit
We arrived in an empty restaurant. Even the waitress wasn’t here. We had to say hello a couple of times for the waitress to come. She asked us very rudely whether we wanted to eat here or to take away without even making a sentence. We sat and she brought the menu and mimed that we had to write what we wanted on a piece of paper. She came back and told us we had to pay first. After a few minutes she brought us our plates and we didn’t see her back again, she did not even say godbye. The food was way too salty in my opinion. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant at all

Dumplings deliciosos! - Edit
Fuimos a cenar a 58 Dim Sum, ya que nos lo habían recomendado. Y la verdad es que los dumplings estaban deliciosos, además, el precio nos resultó económico para la media de Estocolmo. Repetiría😄

The service was so rude it became hilarious. - Edit
To state that the service was lacking is a huge understatement!
Read moreOther than the person speaking the bare minimum to us ("write" referring to our orders, "cash or card") we were told to leave with a "stop" and arm gesture, as in stop talking and leave, even though it wasn't time to close yet.
I noticed that the place mostly remained empty as people came and ordered the dumplings to go. I can see why.
The dumplings were good, and with plenty vegan options to chose from, some better than others.

A smile would make a difference - Edit
I hadn't been to this place for a few years, so the other day I decided to give it another go. I was always pleased with their food and service; despite having read objections to their hygiene standards, I had never witnessed anything like that. And this last time I didn't, either. But that doesn't mean staff does its duty: for starters, my polite "hello" was met with a stern "eat here or take away?", completely devoid of a smile or any friendliness whatsoever. I thought the lady in charge just had a bad day. When enquiring whether their vegetarian dumplings were fully vegan (they used to, a few years ago) she just got confused. Apparently they contain no milk, if that's a good enough answer for you. "Write!", she demanded, just as harshly as before. Why she can't write the order herself is beyond me. I complied and received some pretty tasty dumplings with various fillings. However, they were in a sauce that could very well be butter. I just proceeded to eat the food and left, never to come back again. While the value for one's money is great, there is no reason to put up with such an attitude, especially when another dumpling place, Fang Yuan Shi Wu, is just around the corner, equally affordable and staff there are complete sweethearts.

The place is not beautiful and I believe there was just one middle aged rude lady working. You may have trouble ordering if you don’t speak Chinese or Swedish. She was very nice to us after all the other customers left and she found out one of us spoke Chinese.

Decent food, horrible service! - Edit
This is not really a dim sum restaurant, they just have some dumplings and noodles that are clearly marked as vegan. The food is good and came out pretty quick. However, this is the WORST service I've received in any restaurant ANYWHERE. The staff never brought out individual plates or bowls or silverware for us. They never asked us if we wanted anything to drink and then disappeared the entire meal so we couldn't even order anything. And worst of all, before we had even finished eating, the waiter made us pay and then forced us to stop before we were done!! Couldn't even finish our meal before we were kicked out. And the shop wasn't supposed to close for about 45 minutes. It was so disappointing! I will NEVER set foot in this restaurant again and wish I could get a refund on the food I didn't finish.

Mushroom Dumplings - Edit
I am only rating the mushroom dumplings here. I wouldn’t call this a dim sum place because it only offers dumplings and noodles, but there are a variety of vegetarian dumplings to choose from and two noodle dishes. Tea and miso soup is self served. The older lady running the whole restaurant is not very friendly to me but I won’t take it personally.

A dim sum dynasty - Edit
If I could give this place five stars I would, as the choice of dim sum here is superb including mushroom, tofu and broccoli to name a few, which is what we ordered along with the Shanghai flavour noodles with Sixi-Kaofu. I should also mention that all vegan options are clearly labelled on the menu board too. All of the dumplings were delicious and were accompanied by an excellent spicy dip but if I had to choose I would have to pick the mushroom and tofu ones as our favourites. The noodle dish was also very special too with the taste and texture of the seitan and black fungus absolutely divine. In total we spent 225kr and I would definitely recommend going here if you are in the area.

really good dumplings! - Edit
We tried five varieties of dumpling (all were excellent) and the noodles with the seitan. The noodle serving is quite large, whereas you may want more than ten dumplings (for two people).
