No Vegan Options - Edit
My wife and I visited Lago by Druthers for the first time the other night. While the view is spectacular, the building is beautiful (whichever firm designed it did a fantastic job), the food was very disappointing, so much so that we decided to just order drinks. We are vegetarians (my wife is vegetarian and I am vegan), and there was not a single item I could eat on the menu, or if there was, I couldn't find it. We heard through the grapevine that they used to have quite a few vegetarian/vegan options, or at least dishes that could be made vegetarian/vegan, but their new Italian-themed update removed all of them. In this day and age, to not have even a couple vegan options and a few vegetarian options on the menu, or at least a few (or really most) menu items that can be made vegetarian or even vegan is really pretty limiting.
Read moreAll in all, even though the view is very nice and the service was perfectly fine, we definitely won't be going back with this menu, and we won't recommend it to others, either, and people ask us all the time where the new hotspots are in/around Saratoga.
