Good but... - Edit
Used to love this places' vegan cinnamon walnut vegan spread but they replaced it with a super sweet chocolate chip flavor that didnt seem to be very popular and then completely got rid of it and the spinach artichoke ones so the only vegan topping for bagels is basically just peanut butter and jelly.
Read moreThe bagels are still really good and fresh, so if just wanting that, you'll be fine. But as far as feeling like there's options or even a full meal, you'll be limited sadly.
They do have vegan options for milk alternatives for your drinks like lattes and teas as well as a delicious lavender lemonade and sometimes fresh orange juice.

Won’t return unless it’s to get bagels to go. - Edit
I would only go back to get bagels to go (to eat at home with a vegan cream cheese.)
Read moreMy main reason for coming here was for their vegan cream cheese. They no longer offer it. They do have almond & oat milks for coffee drinks.
Ordered a pumpkin bagel with peanut butter. They gave me at least 1/4 cup p.b. Way too much. Bagel was tasty.
Also ordered a side of hash browns. OMG. They are WAY too heavy handed with the pepper. Too spicy. Couldn’t finish.
No salt available.
We ate “in”, they only have disposable utensils, etc. even if you’re not taking it to go.
Atmosphere and decor is nice. Convenient location.
Pros: Atmosphere, Location, Bagels
Cons: No longer offer vegan cream cheese, Hash browns were too spicy , Not environmentally friendly. Uses all disposables

Yum! - Edit
This place is pretty cool! I stopped by to grab a bagel sandwich.
Read moreThe shop it is self it pretty cute, colorful and simple with nice decorations. I love all the seating they offer. When I came into the shop you can see the cream cheese displayed like ice cream is in a ice cream shop and I love they made that product front and center. The menus are large and very easy to read.
They have three vegan options for spread for your bagel or bagel sandwich, hummus, spinach artichoke tofu cream cheese and a cinnamon walnut tofu cream cheese option as well.
Pros: MORE VEGAN CREAM CHEESE PLEASE!

Good, but seemed unprepared for a morning rush - Edit
We got there around 10:30 on a Saturday morning, and almost all of the bagels were out already, so our options were limited. There were two tofu spreads--a cinnamon walnut and spinach artichoke (or something like that). I tried the spinach artichoke (because there weren't any bagels left that went with cinnamon walnut), and it was really good, though super garlicky. I tasted garlic for hours after.
Read moreWe also ordered coffees, which can be made with nondairy milk for an upcharge. The place was pretty busy, but even with a lot of staff, it was slow. We finished out bagels before we even got our coffee.
Pros: Vegan "cream cheese" spread
Cons: Ran out of product, Slow service, Upcharge for vegan options

VEGAN BAGELS! - Edit
I was so excited when the tofu based spreads became available. I visited Madison, WI recently and they had a NY style bagel place with a tofu based cream cheese spread that was delicious. I requested to 5 Borough Bagels that they try something similar, and within a couple weeks, they did! Not saying it was entirely my doing, but either way, I'm happy. Both flavors are super delicious, and while I'd love for their everything bagel to be vegan (all seeded bagels have an egg-wash), the vegan bagels they do have are well made and tasty. Extremely friendly staff and cute vibe.
