I had such high hopes and expectations for this place after reading about the separate vegan menu.
Read moreThe lady who greeted us was rude from the moment we got there. I asked for a vegan menu when we sat down and she said ok but then spent 20 mins walking around cleaning up and chatting to the other people working there. We got the attention of a guy who was really nice and he got me a vegan menu. She then came back 2 seconds after and asked what we wanted and I said I’ve only just got the vegan menu. Yes I was probably a bit snappy here but come on, we’d been there half an hour by this point. Anyway she came back and we ordered drinks and I then asked what the “D” on the vegan menu meant… it meant dairy… so yeah I didn’t order that option. We weren’t spoken to by her after that, the nice guy was then on our table, I can’t remember which curry I ordered now but it was nice enough but the whole experience was just a bit annoying and in the hindsight perhaps we should have just left and went elsewhere.
Overall I wouldn’t bothered going here where there’s are loads of better options about.
Pros: A mostly vegan menu
Cons: Rude staff/Poor service , Expensive for what service is received , Mediocre food

I was offered a separate vegan menu. It had a limited selection but the aubergine dish i went for was delicious. The waiting staff were very friendly, helpful, and efficient. Service was quick (the restaurant was very quiet on a Sunday evening). I'd happily eat there again.

Good food but waiters uneducated about veganism - Edit
There are some vegetarian items on the menu that the waiters think are vegan. You've got to have them list all the main ingredients because some of them will think dairy-based ghee, for example, is vegan.

Unfortunately the menu is very confusing and the vegan options are not easy to identify. The staff just told us to read the menu!

Best Vegan Curry Full of Flavour and Friendly Staff 🙌 - Edit
The Manager is wonderful, so accommodating and ensures everything is vegan and walks you through all of the options. I had never been to a fine dining Indian restaurant as a vegan before so didn’t know what to expect. All the takeaway vegan curries I’ve ever had have lacked flavour and just felt like boring veg in a sauce. But the curry I had here, can’t remember the name but it was delicious! They also have 3 vegan starters which is a breath of fresh air to have over 4 curries to choose from, starters and lemon sorbet for dessert 🍨
