Great Vegan menu choices! - Edit
The menu sounds amazing! Lots of great vegan options! Like tofu scramble and hummus bread or vegan croissants. The place looks real nice as well.
Read moreThe bone I have to pick is or are: it has a bit of a franchise feel to it, food portions are on the smaller side and the service happened to be a disaster for us unfortunately. 2 of us were done with our breakfasts long before the other 2 ever received theirs. Silverware was forgotten etc.

Boutique Hotel with vegan options - Edit
You get a breakfast plank for two persons if you book the hotel room including breakfast. It comes with several small sweet and savoury snacks and can be veganized on request. One hot drink is included in the hotel breakfast.

Read moreThe pistachio croissant was supposed to have a filling, but turned out to only have a topping of pistachio butter (it tasted manufactured) and pistachios. It was still good, but simple. The oat cookie was allright, but too sweet for me. I did like the kurkuma latte with oatmilk.
Please be aware that the cookies served with hot beverages are probably not vegan! They also come with pre-packaged honey.

Good option for coffee and sweets - Edit
We sat down at Anne&Max after a walk because our favourite spot (KLUTS) was full. This is just around the corner so we decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint. Although it is most definitely not as good as KLUTS, they coffee is quite good and they have a lot of vegan options when it comes to sweets. I had the banana bread which was moist, had a nice banana flavour and had chocolate in it which was a nice twist. All in all a good experience.

Many vegan options for sweet pastries - Edit
There were more sweet pastries to choose from than I expected. I tried the lemon poppy seed cake and banana bread. Both were delicious! My in-laws loved the apple pie. The iced coffee was good, and it's nice that you get a discount on plant-based milk.

They also serve vegan cocoa (hot chocolate) with oat milk and vegan yogurt with granola.
They have a second, bigger spot at Domstraat 4, 3512 JB Utrecht (which is the one that we visited as the other one was full). This one also has a garden (closed now in the winter).
Pros: Nice vibe, Tasty food , Clearly labelled menu
Cons: Ordering through the website can be confusing
