Work Christmas lunch - Edit

We were emailed the menu - 1 vegan entree, main and dessert. It was a two course meal and I was very happy with the entree and main. Arrived to a different menu (was ok, but not so excited - wait staff said the other was a transitional menu). Ordered the beetroot tartare for entree (menu said - pickled mustard seeds, baby fennel and papadum) ordered without fennel only to find it also had coriander. Not a great start. Good news though they had a chicken curry which could be made vegan. (Other option was celeriac Mille- feuille - don’t know what that is, but not a fan of celeriac). Anyway, curry was delicious and I was very happy. Dessert option was matcha pudding - didn’t have, other vegan present said it was ok.
Drinks were complicated bc you couldn’t order and pay at the bar and it would be one tab with people to pay at the end. Not going there with 25 people, so water it was.
In general it was a solid average for a work paid for Christmas lunch. Omni’s were a bit divided. Some thought the food was great and some thought it was just ok.

Pros: Vegan options , Most staff were very helpful

Cons: Not many vegan options

Nice view and food - Edit

There were a few vegan options on the menu, clearly marked. We enjoyed the experience and the view of the boats and water. It's a bit away from the main drag of Queenscliff.
Service was OK, plenty of seating and the food was good.
This is a decent option if you are in town.
