This is a lovely hotel in a convenient location in the heart of Old San Juan. The staff obviously takes great pride in their work, and everything is clean and well-maintained.
Read moreAs far as dining, breakfast is included, but they don't cater to vegans. They can cobble together a few sides or a fruit plate and they have oat and almond milk.
I would definitely stay here again, but plan to get breakfast elsewhere.

With what you just explained here. This place does not deserve a 4 star. That is barely a 1 star, i wouldnt trust any of the breads, the pancakes most likely are with milk & eggs (or already contains 1 or both included in pancake & waffle mix). Even if they tell you the pancakes are vegan (i've heard that before). Dont trust they really are. That person from another place who told me the pancakes were vegan,when i asked to check the brand they use and the ingredients, the brand already contained "Cultured Buttermilk" (derived from cows' milk). So it was false that the pancakes were vegan. Always ask the employees to let you make sure the food you're paying for doesnt contain any animal exploitation in ingredients. I always ask to see the ingredient list of breads & to see the product myself, not for them to tell me ingrdnts themselves.
