This place used to be mostly meat years ago, but the owner went vegan and majorly expanded the vegetarian and vegan options – and their fantastic! I’ve had the Cubano sandwich and breakfast burritos. Flavorful, fresh, and very “meaty” - great for folks who love meat and trying to cut back.

Came here on a whim and tried the Tri Tip Cumano Sandwich. The sandwich was great. The place was a little small but there weren’t that many people when we went. Will definitely add this stop when I’m in the area.

This place serves the very best vegan sandwiches I’ve ever had! Incredibly fresh bread stuffed with vegan meat, cheese, and so much flavor! We tried the vegan Cuban tri-tip and the vegan Cuban chik’n. Both were incredible - the texture, the flavor, the experience. Perfection!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? That sandwich was vegan? I ordered the vegan tri-tip Cuban and my wife ordered the vegan chick’n Cuban and we shared. Piled high on artisan bread, their sandwiches are nothing short of amazing. Outdoor seating in the warm sun is great or eat inside. Highly recommended if you’re in the mood for a great sandwich!

I was so excited to find out this place has vegan options. They have several options to choose from and I got the chicken Milanese. It was delicious! The vegan chicken itself was great and so was the sauce and bread. They also had easy parking and cute outdoor patio. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Monterey!

Read moreI got the vegan chicken sandwich on ciabatta. The sandwich was HUGE. I also added avocado and pickles to it. It was so delicious. I’m not sure what plant based chicken they use but it had a great texture. It also comes with a vegan sauce which tasted like a chipotle aioli type of sauce. Was really great.
The inside is fairly small but clean. They also have an outdoor patio. Staff was nice but the girl didn’t know which breads were and were not vegan- I just went with the ciabatta because I knew it was safe from other HappyCow reviews.
They have bottled beverages and chips inside as well.
We got our sandwiches to go and ate them on the beach and they were still nice and warm 30 minutes later.
Don’t pass this place up!

I try skipping vegan meat at most places due to taste. I had a vegan chikn wrap and decided to come back for vegan cuban tri tip sandwich. Both tasted amazing. The owner is also vegan. Very good flavor and options. #Veganuary

The owner Juan is vegan and has a passion for creating a place that serves quality vegan and vegetarian sandwiches ! My husband found this on Happy Cow just this evening and we decided to check it out ! We were not disappointed in the offerings 😃👏!!! My husband ordered the Cubano sandwich and I had the signature chicken wrap ! The sandwich and wrap were generous in portion size . The chicken and chorizo were delicious along with vegan bacon which was very tasty !

This place is right down the street from my house and I didn't know it had vegan options for over a year. The owner is vegan and he has a vegan section on the menu with a beyond burger and chicken sandwich. Some of the vegetarian items can be veganized. He has vegan cheese and also has Just Egg and told us he's getting vegan chorizo in next week to make vegan breakfast burritos. I'll definitely be back!
