Great food! - Edit
I've been for dinner and brunch, but I only have pictures of brunch. The food has been very good so far. The wait time for the food was long. Tje cinnamon bun came out probably 30 mins before the rest of the food. I completely understand that they have been open for less than a month and are still trying to get a rhythm, but it was a bit crazy. Also, if you want waiter service, don't sit on the patio. You have to sit inside, especially when they are busy.

Tasty! - Edit
When I try a new place out I order more food than I can eat in one sitting to test things out. I take home the rest. I got the Pretzels with Beer Cheese, Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese, and the Pretty Byrd with Truffle fries. I loved everything! The pretzels were the best pretzels I have had with a cheese dip. They were lighter and not the thick dense type of pretzels other places usually serve. I will be getting them often. The Mac and cheese was creamy with the right amount of sauce. It had a great flavor and didn't have that gross aftertaste that most vegan mac and cheeses have. My favorite was the Pretty Byrd. It was so flavorful! It tasted like an elevated BLT. It will be tough to try to not get it every time I go. Lol
Read moreThe atmosphere was great and had a fun vibe. The decor was nice The bathroom was nice, too!
For the service I experienced, the staff was very friendly and I didn't have any difficulty with placing my order.
The only complaint I would have about this restaurant would be that it would feel more special if we could place our order at our table, instead of at a counter. It's not a huge deal, though.
Pros: The food, The service, The atmosphere
Cons: Ordering at a counter instead of at the table.

I went 05/26/24 when the menu just got updated. I love it! The bakon Mac and Cheese is super good! I like it better than the pulled "pork" version. The pretzels were still awesome. They don't even need the cheese, even though the cheese is good. The rotating pasta that I wish would be permanent on the menu was the Carbonara with a Yo Egg. I loved it so much!

Just ok (Hopefully it will get better) - Edit
I went on a particularly packed Monday evening and had an ok meal. The star of the meal was their homemade mini corn dogs. I was really impressed with their batter, house made dogs, and sauces. 10/10 would order again. I tried the Byrd and my partner tried the burger. I honestly wasn't thrilled with either. There was a lot of faux bacon on the burgers that I didn't vibe with, and I was kinda underwhelmed by the sandwiches as a whole. I really wanted to love this place, and I'm hoping the food is better next time I go.
Read moreI was *enchanted* by the decor and atmosphere. The service was also great! We ordered at the counter, sat upstairs, and had several folks check in on us. This is a SUPER cool place that I would love to go to with friends for a leisurely happy hour. Go check out the second floor bathroom! (this is not a prank, the tile is just really cool.) I'll try it again.

Gorgeous space, great cocktails - Edit
What a gorgeous space! And amazingly delicious cocktails— including a Nitro version of Bees Knees. We also loved the food: we shared a pulled jackfruit BBQ sandwich with slaw. Wish it weren’t a drive away— I would’ve had another cocktail!

Vibe is cool - Edit
If you are looking for a cool vibe, this is your place. If you are looking for great vegan food and excellent service, this might not be the best option right now. We went for brunch and the food was mediocre at best. I would say the best thing we order was the biscuits and gravy, however the biscuits were over cooked. Had to use a knife to cut them, they were so tough. Service wise, we were a party of four and one of our orders did not come out until everyone else was pretty much done with their meal. Coffee also did not get refilled. The meal that came out late was comped but we would have rather just had everything come out together. Instead, plates trickled out.
Read moreIt would be nice to have a fully vegan restaurant on this side of the bridge if they can get all of the kinks worked out. Food is definitely overpriced for what it was. Hopeful it will improve as time goes on.
Pros: Atmosphere
Cons: Price, Food, Service

If you’re reading this, make your way down to 3 Howls right now! The food and drinks were fantastic. It’s in an old house on Main Street, and the vibe is great. I’ll definitely be back!

The Best Vegan Brunch in the Portland area! - Edit
I had my first meal at 3 Howls this afternoon (Brunch Menu) and I was seriously impressed. The Biscuits and Gravy was fantastic! The savory sausage gravy was packed with flavor, and paired perfectly with the buttery biscuits and a side of scrambled eggs. I cannot overstate how incredible it is to have a plant based restaurant here in Vancouver. I have sampled breakfasts at all of the popular Portland vegan eateries and this is by far the best food I have encountered. Do yourself a favor and check this place out! I will be back to try their lunch/dinner menu, as well as more of their evening cocktails.

Vegan in Vancouver?! - Edit
Cool atmosphere, friendly staff, large drink menu, all vegan menu, and it's in Vancouver! Had the pulled jackfruit sandwich and onion rings. Both were very good. Several other items looked good, too. The table next to us ordered the cauliflower bites, and the plate was very large and full.

Long story short, this place is legit!
Read moreWe ordered the biscuits and gravy, steak and eggs, and the cinnamon roll, and it was super delicious. We will definitely be coming back soon to try out their lunch menu and drinks!
It feels like a surreal dream that a place like this exists in Vancouver now, but I'm here for it!

Fill Your Jowls at 3 Howls - Edit
Today was the grand opening, so I expected some issues. When we arrived, an employee directed us to scan a QR code for the menu. We were disappointed there were no breakfast items even though it was 8 AM. While waiting in line to order at the bar, we noticed other customers holding paper menus with brunch items. We were excited, but confused why the employee had told us to use other menus.
Read moreI ordered the Full English Breakfast, which includes vegan eggs, bacon (or sausage), roasted potatoes, beans, sauteed mushrooms and kale, charred marinated tomato (which I omitted), and fruit (or toast).
A server brought water to our table. It tasted like chemicals. I don't know if it was the glasses or the water itself, but it was so bad that I couldn't drink it.
A server brought my partner's meal, and said mine would be right out. After a while, a server asked if I was waiting on food, so I said yes. They said they would check the kitchen, but they never returned. My partner finished his entire meal, so I went to the bar to ask about mine. It must have been forgotten because the employee apologized, and offered me a refund, but I declined as I just wanted the meal. They rushed it to my table a few minutes later. I received sausage instead of the bacon I ordered, but they did also give me toast.
Overall, the food was good, but I'll wait for the restaurant to have more experience before returning.
Note: The late 90s/early 2000s pop music did not fit the ambience.
