Excellent Italian - Edit
Really super meal here. Staff friendly and all vegan wine is marked as such. Inventive menu. We had the tomato bruschetta, the vegan meatball pasta which was lovely and then sticky toffee and coconut pudding and an apple and amaretto crumble for dessert

Gorgeous Food - Edit
This is a wonderful vegan-friendly restaurant. It’s more upmarket than the pubs nearby (more an evening outing than a post hike one!) Plenty of options, friendly servers, delicious flavours.

Good food and wine - Edit
Clearly labelled vegan options and options that can be made vegan on the menu, wines also labelled vegan. Food was good, we had pizza and pasta with vegan meatballs. Nice seating area in the sunshine too.

Best restaurant in Castleton for vegans! - Edit
Honestly this is by far the best restaurant in Castleton. I’m going to save you the time, money and disappointment of going around other places like we did. Found this gem on the last two nights and honestly it was amazing! Garlic bread and the tomato meatball pasta were by far the best. But also the gnocchi and beetroot pasta! The people working there are so so lovely and remembered we were vegan the next day. Honestly this place is the best and I wouldn’t bother going anywhere else!

Great local restaurant with vegan options - Edit
Ate here twice during a visit to Peak District; once for dinner and once for brunch. Menu changed between visits but both times a few vegan options available. I had the vegan pizza and my partner had the creamy red pepper pasta, both of which were delicious. Second visit we both had a brunch roll with scrambled tofu, vegan bacon, mushroom and tomatoes which was great and came with a portion of chips so really good value. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Really nice local place that offered more than the village pubs.
