We had the nachos, Philly, gyro, poutine, and Oreo hush puppies. Delicious, large portions, wonderful service from Tanya, and tons of sports on tv. A gem for sure.

Top teir breakfast - Edit
Came here not expecting much, as sometimes "full breakfasts" can be a little disappointing. But man, this place did not disappoint at all. They had an entire section of vegan breakfast options. I got the Greek Tofu Benny and my partner got the Big Vegan Breaky. Both were incredible and some of the best breakfasts we've had at a restaurant.

The venue is comfortable, with a row of booths along one wall, a considerable amount of table seating, seating at the bar, and a private/party room (the "penalty box"). Televisions line the wall, tuned to various sports channels. There is a full plant-based menu and a full omnivore menu, which is great for groups with mixed dietary requirements/preferences. The beer list is not extensive, but they do have a few craft beers on tap, which is appreciated. They've also got Heineken 0.0 for those who abstain.
Read moreI've tried the donair and the cauliflower wrap, and my husband has tried the burrito bowl and the chickpea button mushroom curry, all from the plant-based menu. All were very tasty.
We'll be back again. It's a nice place to have a casual evening watching a game with some solid vegan food.

They have a proper vegan menu which is a win right off the bat. Lots of options to choose from, and they even have a tasty all day breakfast (scrambled tofu, beyond sausage, hash browns, toast, coffee) which is an option I've rarely seen in vegan form at other places. Definitely worth checking out!

Absolutely enjoyed every morsel of my BREAKFAST TOFU WESTERN WRAP! It was a large portion so I had leftovers for dinner and it was still phenomenally delicious! I can't wait to go back as there are so many options I want to try, although to be honest I would eat that wrap 3 times a day indefinitely!!! A huge surprise to have a whole vegan menu to complement their main menu. A hidden gem for sure and you can gather with all your non vegan friends & family (as there are options for them too) and know you have a huge variety of incredible choices!!!

Went there for breakfast and had the big vegan breakfast. It was ok. The pancake was oddly tough, the tofu scramble was ok, the hash browns were good, the sausage was ok. Saying it came with fresh fruit is hilarious because there was one tiny orange slice. They only had almond milk for my coffee. It was good overall, not great. It is nice to see vegan breakfast options though - they’re certainly rare.

we were in ottawa on a vacay for our anniversary and went here multiple nights. we loved the canadian brewhouse from our area before we were vegan, so to find a restaurant with a similar vibe where you could watch the oilers kick the flames out of the playoffs and enjoy a great menu. the prices were a little on the pricier side, but when paired with their specials (we got nachos half off) you felt like it was a steal of a deal. if we could pay a reasonable price to get food delivered from here to alberta we totally would haha.

The two orders disappeared within couple of minutes of coming to the table, which meant all of us loved it (& we were starving). The fries that came with many meals - very well made. Super crisp, soft inside. The fries quantity in all a bit less we thought.
Vegan Philly Jack Sandwich - the jackfruit had good smoky flavour but a bit low on spice
Vegan Greek Gyro - the pita super fresh and soft. The roasted potatoes hit the spot as well. Fluffy inside.
Vegan Hometown Wrap - Good wrap, needed some more spice. The vegetables fresh inside.
Vegan Club Sandwich - Nicely stacked. Well cooked vegan impossible patty and fresh toppings. The Cheeze good.
Vegan All Fay Breakfast - good rye toast, and hash brown and vegan breakfast links and tofu scramble although very good that needed a bit more spice and increase the quantity.
Vegan Sausage Penne - the pasta perfectly cooked, the mushrooms and onions good. The sauce good but it bit too less for the pasta. The garlic bread needed more garlic.
A bit too expensive all in, but the service was great and great atmosphere.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Large team can be accommodated
Cons: Not cheap, Some dishes have not enough quantity

This is the best Vegan Pub food in Ottawa. You can get a vegan breakfast that is to die for and there are so many amazing lunch and dinner options where I have not tried one I did not like. Fav is the chiken Buffalo wrap and the Nachos.

I love this place! It’s such a relief to eat here with non-vegans and vegans alike, because there are so many menu options. I haven’t explored the menu as much as I’d like but it’s extensive! I will say that the first time I got the vegan cheesecake it was AMAZING. like the best I’ve ever had. Since then I’ve had two that tasted slightly gone off though… maybe a recipe change, maybe a less frequently ordered item that sits around… not sure but just thought I’d flag it.

Read moreThe vegan chicken finger platter is AMAZING (beyond chicken, I think) and is on for $10 for 7 pieces on Saturdays! The wings are also great. Maybe better than the chicken fingers. They’re in special on Tuesdays.
Boyfriend had the Greek meal and impossible tacos and loved both!
So many good options, it’s difficult to decide!

Despite not being a veg place, their vegan menu is great. Tons of stuff and quite creative, including vegan fish and chips (not sure if they still offer that)! For Thanksgiving 2018, they had a separate vegan buffet that was incredible.

Hometown Grill has a whole menu full of incredible vegan options!! I love eating here and the food is tasty and always comes in good portions. Hometown is a great pub vibe with a full vegan menu. The breakfast was delicious (got the Tofu Benny with a side plate of home fires). We were there during a busy brunch rush and the staff were still very attentive with coffee refills and checking up on tables. Went with a non-vegan friend and they said their breakfast was great as well so will definitely return for great meat and meatless options. Side note: you can buy a dozen of their vegan mini muffins to go and they were so yummy for snacks later!

Food was great, full vegan menu and staff are well versed. Big place indoors with patio outside. Portions are good. Just not a fan of all the styrofoam takeout containers and plastic cutlery. Probably won’t do takeout again until I can eat in just because of how much waste getting takeout form here makes.

Read moreThe food is phenomenal. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it. There is a dedicated vegan area in the kitchen so no chance of cross-contamination.
Had the vegan poutine, quesadillas, and "fish" and chips. Everything was perfect! Great balance of tasting like the real thing while not grossing me out (I'm the type to get grossed out by too-realistic meat textures). The vegan cheese was melty, stretchy, ooey-gooey goodness. Definitely returning. Would leave pics...but ate everything too fast.
Pros: Delicious, Dedicated vegan cooking area
Cons: A bit loud (to be expected from a sports bar), Somewhat pricey (again, worth it)
