Only visiting for the day. - Edit
This place was great. Super friendly. Quick. I'd love to visit again. Bummer some people are leaving reviews about the neighborhood. Wherever there's vegan restaurants there's gentrification so they don't have to be so bothered by poor people for long. I loved it and I'm not afraid of the people who live there cuz I'm not a bad person.

This was my first time there and the food was Amazing. I had the thai wings and the Reuben sandwich. The wings are the best that I have had as a vegan, and the reuben was very good. I will definitely be going back.

We discovered this spot on a recent vacation -- super cute and cozy location with plenty of off street parking. The food was delicious - we tried the mushroom Reuben with potato salad and a Chimichanga.

Ok so here’s the scoop....this is an incredible restaurant in the middle of one of the sketchiest neighborhoods I’ve ever been in. So if you’re used to eating vegan in trendy neighborhoods like me this may make you pucker up a bit. Although the mounted police presence did help a little. ;)

Amazing food, great service. Just go - Edit
Tried it last night for first time. Got the fried pickles, lasagna roll ups, wings, Caesar salad, mac n cheese. Everything was delicious. Food was fresh, quick service. The dip for the pickles was great but may I say the ranch was out of this world!! I could drink it. I only liked certain ranches as a non veg so I was ultra picky about which ones and this ranch SHOOK me to my core I loved it. Lol. The sauce on the wings was amazing as someone who is kindy picky about 'mild' wing sauce and it, again, delicious. Garlic bread was fantastic. Lasagna roll ups lasted two minutes at our table and the pickles were breaded to perfection. Reheating leftovers now! As a complete Vegan restaurant we will continue to support it 💯 and I've even got our non veg friends excited to go because they say it looks amazing and can't wait to try! So glad Indy has this great place to offer us. Also, no straws for cups, at least we weren't given any but THANK YOU for that. Truly appreciate all the thought into this food and service. 🅰️➕➕

Heavy. Greasy. - Edit
Sorry. I'm burned out on vegan diners. Like Chicago Diner, this seemed like a great idea. But after a disappointing (cold, unimaginative) Sub today, I'm over it. I don't get vfc the appeal of boiled wheat served on a (wheat) bun. I feel bloated, nauseous...
Read moreVegan can be vibrant, creative. Not gluren sandwiches.
Pros: Great fries!
Cons: Greasy grilled sandwiches, Lackadaisical staff (today), Sub

I agree that the lack of "good for you" vegan food restaurants is disappointing. Places like Uncooked or Chicago Raw. I'm guessing that more Vegan restaurants serve "comfort food" because that is what the majority of their customers want.
Read moreMaybe the Chef at 10th St Diner might consider adding a Fresh Food Friday special once a week to see how it is received by customers.

Owner Karen Holmes is constantly experimenting with food combinations and spices, and her style is definitely eclectic. Most every ingredient is made in house, and the creativeness and freshness shine through!

One of the best vegan spots ever - Edit
This place is hands down in the top 3 vegan restaurants I’ve been to. We ordered the following 3 meals - lasagna plate, Submarine sandwich, and fried chicken plate.
Read moreAll 3 dishes were good portions. The submarine seitan sandwich was by far the tastiest vegan sandwich I had. Their seitan was extremely tasty. The fried chicken was also amazing- very crispy and moist inside. The lasagna is a crowd favorite and it didn’t disappoint.
We received our food very quickly and the staff was extremely friendly. This place is HIGHLY recommended.

I'm definitely going back! - Edit
I had the fried chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy. Girlfriend had the Ruben. Both were amazing. Prices are very fair. Only tiny critique is that the neighborhood is pretty rough, so be cautious.

I write this comment and not a review because I was not able to eat at the restaurant when we were driving through the Indy area. We went to the address at 7:30 pm on Tuesday night. In a hand written note on the door new closing hours of 8 pm were posted but the place was dark. This comment categorizes the neighborhood as rough but I've been in a lot of rough urban neighborhoods (south Philly, Washington Heights NYC) and felt safer than I did in this parking lot. If you want to go there call first and be prepared.

Indy Vegan "Oasis" just off expressway - Edit
Chicken pot pie tasted like nostalgia and was very hearty. Wish there was more puff pastry crust than the pretty decorative disc on top because it tastes great with that huge bowl of filling. Potato salad was great and husband loved the submarine sandwich. Mom's veggie burger looked burnt (not appetizing) but didn't taste burnt. "House" chips didn't taste or look homemade. We guess they're store bought tortilla rounds with a homemade Doritos ranch powder. Lasagna was sold out so we didn't get to try it. Decor was great from the dining room to the restrooms. On a funny note, there were about 6 Priuses in the parking lot!

Way too processed and lacking nutrients for my liking - Edit
Let me just say first off I'm super happy to have a vegan restaurant on the east side of Indy. But after eating here I felt a total gut bomb. I struggled with the menu because everything is processed soy &/or bread/pasta. If you are gluten-free you will not find options here. Not everyone wants imitation modified soy products ( the health risks of these kinds of products is pretty well documented). Eating healthy nutrient dense food is important for me and on this point it completely missed the mark. This place seems to be catering to converting mainstream SAD eaters but not to the crowd that actually cares about what they're putting in their body. I got the taco salad and there was nothing healthy on there- fake meat crumbles, jarred salsa, iceberg lettuce (I mean seriously who even uses iceberg anymore?!), and a cheezy sauce, all on fried tortilla chips. Nothing even seemed to be non-GMO which is just bare minimum to me. My SAD eating parents enjoyed their food....because it was fake meat covered in unhealthy sauces. Like I said, just catering to a different crowd. I really hope they can get some fresher food in here, some better quality ingredients, etc. How about some fresh veggies and some natural protein options - beans, lentils, hemp hearts, nuts--- they didn't have any of this, which is just ridiculous to me in this day and age. There are so many good options out there, why limit it to processed junk?
