Lovely little cafe - Edit
Had brunch here this morning - the burgers were delicious and the chips had some tasty seasoning on them. The brownie and coffee we had were great too. Big servings all around!

Good price, OK food, confusing service - Edit
As soon as I arrived, I wanted to give them 5 stars, since they have daily meals for AUD 7 after 2 PM and the sweets look amazing. The pork sandwich tasted pretty good, not just the sweet BBQ sauce you might expect. Then I asked a few questions and realized the servers didn't really know the difference between vegetarian and vegan options, which makes me worried for those who have allergies, and they clearly have at least the MilkLab lactose-free dairy milk available, some items marked as vegetarian, others as vegan, not sure about the rest. Someone (maybe the owner or manager) later informed me that the carrot cake had dairy cream as well. Some questionable hygiene, nothing serious, and my microwaved lasagna was still mostly cold when they handed it to me... So yeah, great venue proposition, questionable execution... Lots of interesting options! Certainly room for improvement.

Pros: Good price, Many vegan options, Good sandwiches
Cons: Servers not well trained (hygiene and allergies), Vegan display items may not be vegan?

Sounds like a fkn mess. ‘Items may be non-vegan without notice.’

This place was listed as vegan here, which made me all the more confused on whether they had transitioned recently or the staff just didn't know the difference... But I still had a good experience, they just need more training really; I like that they have these 7-dollar meal options after 2 PM, perfect size for my partner.

Amazing vegan food. Tons of flavorful savory and sweet foods. Awesome coffee. Great breakfast options with both sit-down and quick take away options. Almost everything is vegan but they do have a few dairy options so make sure to ask if you’re vegan.

Great little spot we didn’t know existed - Edit
Found this on HC a while back and was surprised and curious, I’ve come through St Leonard’s station a few times and didn’t notice this. Has good seating inside and outside as well, good for avoiding indoor Covid scary settings.
Read moreWe had lunch here but one opted for a breakfast item. Cafe is vegetarian but vegan is easy and good GF options as well.
Friendly staff, decor is modern and has a rustic, street food style to it. Good coffee as well actually.
So GF buckwheat pancakes with fruit and vegan mascarpone, pulled pork style burger and a cauliflower burger, I was going for fish style but it was out.
Burgers were good, good size and flavour. Good hand cut chips with a homemade sauce.
Burgers came with a sauce on them, I think it was a bit heavy handed so I would probably ask them to go no sauce or very light on the sauce next time.
So we came back for brunch, we had Big Breakfast, Corn and Zucchini Fritters and Cauliflower burger. Asked them to go easy on the burger sauce, allot better as there is sauce on the side if you wish to add more.
Big Breakfast was very good, guac on toast, nice bean mix, mushrooms, faux egg (quite interesting and semi realistic), vegan bacon, leaves with balsamic and a very good vegan sausage.
Corn & Zucchini Fritters were good, had thickness, good batter with a reasonable fluff, guac on top with leaves underneath.
Coffee is very good, smooth, I drink long black so you can actually taste it. Green maccha soy latte and soy latte all good. Chamomile tea is a good sized iron pot, was offered a second cup as it would serve two
3h free parking on Sundays on street in places, 1h spots as well. During the week it can be hard work. Not an issue if you’re local or catch public transport.
Had takeaway container meals for sale, $6 ea or 2 for $10. Rice and veggie curry, also a faux duck wrap. Looks like a good deal TBH if you after a good meal option.

Great experience, I'll be back for sure - Edit
Lockdown not a problem for this bright and cheery place in one corner of The Forum plaza as still open for takeaway. I had a delicious vegan butter chicken and want to return to try the other options on the menu, almost entirely vegan. Staff were nice, too.

The food was absolutely amazing - not to mention gorgeous! We had the vegan French Toast (best French toast I’ve ever had!) and the Beetroot Hummus Halloumi toast. The two options we picked both had no onion and no garlic.

We are so lucky - Edit
We stumbled upon this place the other week and absolutely love it! Such lovely staff clearly knowledgeable about their food and what is vegan or not. Food was great too, had a “chicken” wrap and an apple strudel. WOW! So good. I’m so happy to find a local cafe for us.

Terrible - Edit
I went there for lunch yesterday for the first time. I ordered the big breakfast and a soy chai; the chai was really plain and my food covered in salt (even though I didn't ask for any). It was so salty that I couldn't eat it and brought it back, saying that they put too much salt on it. The girl at the counter replied to me "not really", and didn't offer me something else or a refund even though I almost didn't touch the food and paid $18 for it. Would definitely not go back. Some of the food on display looked nice but I was extremely disappointed with their customer service.
