Went yesterday and the place looks permanently closed down. No signs with the name outside and many large signs saying "closed" all around, not the small kind of signs that are flipped around when it is open, but big ones where menus/posters usually would be.

I need to start by saying I arrived later in the day, around 6.30. the restaurant was empty aside from some of the people who work there.
Read moreThe food was fine, but it seemed to have been sitting around for a while and was quite stodgy. This didn't live up to my previous experiences of loving hut chains at all. Price wise I don't feel the food was worth it.

We went for lunch, and had the falafel wrap and the veggibab. Both were 6€ each, large portions, and were really tasty! A good option for a quick lunch.

Affordable all-vegan fast food - Edit
Name changed from “Loving hut” to “108 restaurant” recently and they moved to a new location closer to the city center, just a two minute walk from Preseren square. They have lots of covered outdoor seating too. Inside still seems very messy and it is not possible to sit indoors (October 2021).
Read moreTheir buffet has many options, most days it features six or more of these: lasagna, eggplant pizza, enchiladas, baked beans, bell peppers stuffed with buckwheat, chickpea curry, steamed broccoli, roasted potatoes. etc.
If you come right before closing it is possible that there will be fewer options available. The food is mostly really tasty, but some dishes can be too greasy, especially when there is no salad bar available.
The buffet prices were very good last time I visited but looking at the new menu people here are posting it seems the price has increased by at least 25% since. The prices for wraps and burgers remained pretty much the same.
They also have affordable desserts and a soup. Their tiramisu comes in a glass jar, costs 4€ and is very tasty.
I sometimes order items from the menu, it only takes 5-10 minutes for them to be ready.
The gyros and vegibab were both very good. Prices are around 5-6€ for most items (when you order in person).
Unfortunately they rarely change the menu or offer new dishes.
I’ve had food delivered from them twice now. Sometimes the food comes in styrofoam packaging and sometimes it’s paper. Always warm and tasty but the prices are a bit higher.
Staff is friendly and helpful too.

Former best vegan kebab - Edit
Rest in peace, best vegan kebab from Slovenia. Ever since this restaurant changed, the food just isnt the same. Lower quality and the taste has gone. I used to love their kebab and go there just for that. Even though I used to mostly eat their kebab, I noticed the variety of the food get smaller. Too bad for a restaurant to go that way.

Cheap Vegan Buffet & a La Carte - Edit
A brilliant place to quickly eat a relatively healthy vegan lunch or dinner. Usually at least 9 buffet options, not including the soup and salad. Price is per 100 grams. Make sure you get here on time, location closes very early (17:00)

The food of the buffet was maybe not that fresh anymore but it was very tasty! My friends had a gyros wrap and were also very happy. Just the price of the buffet was quite expensive compared to the other dishes. I paid 10 € for one plate and was still hungry while my friends paid 6 € for their wrap (which seemed to be freshly made) and were full afterwards...

The 108 offers a small buffet. I ate there twice on my vacation, also because the 108 is also open on public holidays.

You pay by weight and you don't pay top much for the food.
But the atmosphere is horrible. It's best to sit on the terrace.

Great all-vegan buffet with several in-house made warm dishes, all of which tasted absolutely amazing and left me satiated. It´s €1.20 per 100 grams. I filled up a big plate and ended up paying a bit less than 10 euros, which is very reasonable. Just a shame that the place completely lacks charm.

The food is tasteful (but no incredible), the atmosphere is ok, the staff kind. They have some fast food options and a buffet with a variety of dishes. Prices are cheap but especially because it's a fast food restaurant.

I loved this place! The staff were really lovely and friendly. The food was hearty and tasty. I only ate from the buffet (not the takeaway menu) and it was delicious. You load up your plate and pay per weight. The desserts are good too! Would recommend

The people were nice and it was not expensive but we really never got warm with it…

Hier wird nicht mit Ersatzprodukten um sich geworfen, sondern erfinderisch Gerichte neu interpretiert. Die Lasagne war der Hammer, Enchiladas ebenso, auch besonders gut: der Cheeseburger mit selbstgemachtem Patty. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und machen alles selbst. Selbstbedienung nach Tagesmenü. Tolle Preise!

Awesome place, don’t get scared by the looks of it! The staff is super friendly (and completely vegan!) and the food is amazing. I love that they offer buffet and menu at the same time and you can mix and match from both. Vegan cakes available (they were ok). Doesn’t serve alcohol. Will for sure come back next time I’m in Ljubljana. Non-vegan friend loved it as well.

Don‘t hesitate to take a seat even if it‘s not that cozy. The staff is extremely friendly and they make quick and amazing vegan food. We tried the Gyros with fries & the wok dish - both amazing.
