Mamak Mee Goreng - Fried Noodles

    Instructions

    Boil rice noodles in hot water for 5 minutes until starting to soften yet slightly firm. Drain and set aside.
    Place 1 tablespoon oil in hot wok first, then pour in remaining oil. Add garlic, onions, chilli paste, potatoes, and tofu, and fry. Add noodles and stir, then add bean sprouts and stir. Season with ketchup and soy sauce to taste. Serve hot.

    Ingredients

    1 large handful rice noodle, enough for 2 servings
    1/2 cup oil
    4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    1 onion, chopped
    1 tablespoon red chilli paste
    2 cup potato, boiled and diced
    1 pound firm fried tofu cubes
    1 cup bean sprouts
    3 tablespoons ketchup
    2 tablespoon soy sauce
    water
