Instructions
Boil and mash potato.
Mix all ingredients (except oil) until well incorporated and looks like dough.
Grease your hands with oil and scoop 2-3 tbsp of the mixture and shape them into small patties or tikkis of 1/4 inch thickness.
Heat a non-stick pan and cook both sides of the patties, greasing with little oil as you go.
Cook till both sides get nice brown color.
Optionally you can garnish the tikki pieces with chopped onion, grated carrot, chopped coriander, green chutney, and sweet chutney, and call it aloo tikki chaat.
