Lived in Tokyo for 4 years working at the American Embassy and Hong Kong for 4 years working at the American Consulate. Naturally, I grew to love Asian food that evolved out of the Buddhist tradition and I have been very pleased to observe the rapid growth of vegetarian/vegan restaurants in both HK and Japan. I've visited all 50 US states and around 60 foreign countries and I find Happy Cow indispensable during my travels.
