I'm a Conservation Biologist currently working on the beautiful island of Dominica. I love getting out and exploring new places and finding animals. I particularly love frogs, snakes and bats, but am fairly fascinated by everything. My fear of most creepy crawlies was pretty much got rid of after living for a month in the jungle - although having said that I'm definitely not keen on centipedes and botfly! Unfortunately I tend to trip over fairly regularly, however rarely seem to hurt myself/break anything. On several occasions I've been known to fall over in thigh-deep rivers carrying buckets of live fish and not lost a single one! I have a bit of a thing for Amanda Palmer. One day I want a house with a garden I can grow lots of fruit and vegetables in. I prefer beer to cocktails. My vegan cooking skills are definitely improving. As to where I'll be this time next year? I couldn't possibly say.
