Yallah is a Middle Eastern Street Food concept created by Chef Hagay Elle to bring to Lisbon the food with which I grew up. Our menu includes traditional Levantine cuisine dishes such as Hummus, Falafel, Pitas, Taboulleh or Malabi, as well as some of my own creations such as Pita Yallah, made with a secret mix of meats and spices. Please note that we are not a restaurant like the others, the atmosphere offered is informal and relaxed, as if you were eating at my home, sitting next to other guests at the common table overlooking the kitchen, sharing the food and making new friendships. As such, customers feel free to ask me about the ingredients and origin of each dish and please pick them up in the kitchen whenever we shout out the customer's name followed by "Yallah !!" If you want you can also take out what we do, such as our pitas in grab & go, or rather grab & yallah, or the dishes and desserts in take-away boxes to eat at home or at work. Yallah is an Arabic word used to have someone hurry up, something like "Come on!" or "Let's Go!" It is a very popular expression that is heard on any street or market in the Middle East
