Technically, I'm a Veggiekin, not a vegan. I believe beekeepers can and do care for their bees. Enjoying the extra honey bees produce is no more cruel than driving them around and using them to pollinate our almond trees. I don't envy them or how hard they work, but I do greatly respect and appreciate what they do. I support local beekeepers and organic farmers because honeybees needs our support in order to survive.
