At 52, on 1st May 2008, I weighed in at 127.5kg, with a BMI of 42. To mis-quote Alice - "When you don't know your destination, any direction is good". So I learned that diets are stupid, and mostly wrong! And I'm still learning... ... I'm retired, used to work in the merchant navy, then in IT while the kids were growing up, then back to sea again, until, at 58, I called it a day! Hobbies: Sailing, food, walking and staying alive. Now I'm under 90kg with a BMI of 29. Bit to go yet!
