I have been vegetarian most of my adult life. In my 20s I was vegan for a while but 50 years ago, there wasn't much knowledge or support for vegans. It has been on the back of my mind most of my life though that sometime I would like to go back to being a vegan and so in my early 70s, I have done that. I eat mostly an organic diet for health reasons as well as support those people looking after our planet through their sustainable agriculture practices. I enjoy travel particularly to different cultures and apart from doing the Buddhist pilgrimage, my travel is nature based.
