I play shakuhachi and teach Tai Chi and Bagua. I've been an ovo/lacto vegetarian since 1970. Not so many restaurants or organic food stores around in those days. I have always eaten organic produce when possible since that time. Not only for my health but for the health of the planet. I consider the extra cost as a donation to the planet and all the various life forms that it comprises.
