To clarify, we use vegan products exclusively, and the specific product in question is not tested on animals and contains no animal-derived ingredients. The confusion seems to stem from the Cetaphil brand itself, which, as we later discovered, includes some products that are not vegan. At the time, we were unaware of this due to conflicting information on Cetaphil’s own website. As I explained in my email, once we were made aware, we immediately removed all Cetaphil products from our salon. You emailed us on a Sunday, and despite being closed on Sundays and Mondays, we responded within an hour and had already replaced the products that weekend. Regarding your concern about nail care, we also spoke over the phone, and I apologise if it was unclear that I believed we had fully resolved the issue then. We are committed to running a fully vegan, sustainable business and supporting other vegan businesses. Given the challenges small businesses face, we always appreciate honest feedback, and we did our utmost to address your concerns promptly and thoroughly.
