Hi. My name is Nicole, I own the Plate and this review was just bright to my attention so I’m responding a couple years too late. (Sorry for that) I just wanted to assure you that we do use vegan butter for the bread. The vegan toast always gets Earth Balance not regular butter. I’m sorry if you were misinformed but I just wanted to make sure you or anyone that reads this review is aware.
