Unless you visit Paris, there are hardly any vegan restaurants in France and very few restaurants have vegan options. They also often are not prepared to ‘veganise’ items and/or simply don’t understand what being vegan entails. You’d be shocked the number of venues I’ve talked to and they think vegan is the same as vegetarian. Even on the Côte d’Azur, possibly the most touristic area of France, it’s a constant struggle to find anywhere.
